Moving into new place, may or may not have a land line for telephone service, which company offers the lowest priced internet service in Montreal.

If you do not have a land line you will be limited to only one choice, Videotron cable internet. Unless of course you have money to burn, in which case you can get high speed cellular access.

Bell Sympatico offers DSL service for those who do not have an active landline, at least in Ontario. However, your residence must be accessible to their system... same with cable. They charge a $5/month premium for this service (just like how cable companies charge a premium if you don't have cable TV).
