I guess I'm late (recorded in 1997) but for those who have mist it, this is a great documentary on the recording of Celine Dion's album Let's talk about love. She is amazing. Jean-Jacques Goldman, her french compose,r used to say: give her a melody and she will build a song right from the first take. She works fast, she can sing anything.
On this album she works with Carole King, Georges Martin, Ric Wake (superb reage-rap), Pavarotti, Streisand, David Foster (her main producer), Corey Hart and the Bee Gee. All of them are blown away and when you listen to her, you understand why. The Bee Gee leave the studio crying.
Need a sample to convince you? With Carol King 5m30s - 9m00s (and George Martin losing his britishness to play the clown)
