Look behind you.
I still listen to some old shit, find it timeless. Most of the music you hear now will be forgotten in 5 years.

Rory Gallager... A million miles away.

EB and Carmine - thank you for the video clips from one of my favorite artists. I have seen him in concert 14 times and collected every album he has released including the huge Archives collection. Even on his bad albums there are a few gems. I missed the classic era of rock from the 60's and 70's but developed a love for the music in high school. I didn't have to wait for a new album to be released because I had so much to catch up from the past.

Carmine - After the Goldrush and Harvest were the two first two albums I bought (both fantastic). I would add two other great albums, much more stark, - Tonight's the Night and Sleeps with Angels.

On a sad classic rock note, looks like Ginger Baker of Cream will not make it through the weekend. Another original and unique talent. Keep on Rockin' in the free world!

Just picked up the "new" Abbey Road remix. My favorite Beatles' album sounds even better with the remix. Spotify has a cool The Beatles Abbey Road Experience with an interesting insight into what Beatles songs are being listened to:

And while Abbey Road may be turning 50, the age group that accounts for the most Beatles listening on Spotify, over 30%, happens to be 18- through 24-year-olds.

Spotify shared the top Beatles songs by age group:

18 through 24: “Yesterday”
25 through 29: “Come Together”
30 through 34: “I Want to Hold Your Hand”
35 through 44: “Blackbird”
45 through 54: “Here Comes the Sun”
55+: “Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)”

+1 for "Here Comes the Sun"
