What would you do with the additional money if you stopped hobbying?

It's in the title, but how would you spend / invest the money if you stopped hobbying?

Other hobbies
Savings like RRSP or TFSA
Mortgage
Stocks
Crypto
Vacations
Car
Fine Dining
Partying

For me it would probably be a mix of eating out (not DATY :p), investing more into other hobbies and spending more on vacations.

I don't remember who had this cool signature, it sounded like:
"I put a lot of money into hobby and beer. The rest is waisted"

People should try to cap themself to max 10% per month of their revenue for this hobby if you do not want to be in financial difficulties and build wealth.
But it's challenging when your little friend in your pants is preventing you to be a wise person.
But if you succeed that, and find a way to create a passive income for this hobby, you can hobby forever and that's great.
No need to chose after between hobby or vacation. I am trying to respect my 10% rules for my future self. Glad I did.

I would buy an Island in the Caribbean, put in a golf course with a huge clubhouse/Hotel and i would live in the penthouse overlooking the ocean. There would be a massage parlor on the 6th floor and i would ask Bella and Dolly to manage the place.

Okay, I'm awake now, what did i miss?

My kids would get a bigger inheritance, nothing else would change, not a frequent hobbyist anymore like in the past so the spending is minimal.

so you find you have lost some of your desire as you have gotten older? I ask because i'm starting to get up there in age as well
Yup as BB King says, the thrill is gone. I still get the urge once in awhile and shave my balls to see an escort as I do admire naked females and BJ's. Used to go to Marieville in the past but since their huge price increase I stay away.

It's a challenging question to consider. If I were to give up this hobby, it might be boring AF. It's not solely about the financial aspect but more about missing out on discovering new gems from the younger generation. Let's face it, at 45 years old, I certainly won't encounter them on dating sites or during nights out with friends. I might end up spending money on dating and maintaining a luxurious lifestyle. If I remain single and no longer engage in this hobby, I can't imagine how awkward my life would become.

I would enjoy a few tips from you gentlemen on how to refrain from spending on the hobby, so I could honestly answer this question and take the necessary actions, no joke!
