I have been warned bny MOD(s) to stay focused with reviews/comments that reflects the topic and some simple rules of MERB (Montreal Escorts Review Boards).
However I just noticed that a new banner is showing up as a part of rotating banner advertisement right top conner - some kind of web gambling site advertisement.
what does that have to do with MERB? *if I get kicked out because I said this fine, then be it. I just wanted to point out that advertisement has nothing to do with MERB. Because they paid $$ they can put that (where promotion of gambling has nothing to do wtih MERB) then maybe I should do the same and get no warning and say whatever I want? *

I have no problem with it at all, it’s just one vice complementing another. I wouldn’t be bothered by alcohol or tobacco banners either because advertising is what keeps this site free and alive.

Besides if a simple banner causes someone to lose control and ruin their life then they are in serious need of professional help.

I didn't say about losing control or bothered by the fact it is a gambling thing. I just thought that it has nothing to do with MERB.

As per the board's rules, the advertisers are allowed to post in the advertisement section. Also, the advertisers have always been allowed to post in other sections, as long as 1) it's not for advertising purposes, and 2) they abide to the board's rules (for ex. rule 1-ii, pasted below), like everyone else.

A banner has apparently been purchased. Yes. No gambling related post has been done by the sponser anywhere else than where it's supposed to be.

1) Permitted Activities:
ii) Discuss on any subject that may be of interest to the community.
iii) Advertise for your services (in the PAID advertisement section ONLY)
