What's your first pick for a Hockey Pool?

I just buy the McKeen magazine for my traditional Hockey Pool. I didn't read it already but i am interested by your opinion: What is your first pick this year for a hockey pool? I will try to analyze the situation and tell you later mine.

Sure the season will be one of the most interesting for a pooler because of the number of change in the team and in the rules.

Dany Heatley a talented one surrounded by talent

Overrated: Brad Richards should be more in the 80 range.
Robert Lang: he only take advantage of the other's talent
Rick Nash: he's very good but almost alone in Columbus

To be safe, I'd choose Naslund or Forsberg.

My first pick in an online draft recently was Brodeur....with the new rules, everyone has a good chance to score....defense and goaltending will be key

I think Nash is a solid choice if Zherdev is as good as he can be.

Could be interesting Peter Pan. Count me in if it works. If a good group of people join, it can make another thrill on this site (like i need that!).

Regnad, the hockey's leader are as idiot as baseball's one. But baseball has a better base in USA like it is part of their history that help. Being a "USA National Sport" operating in USA help you better economically than to be "Canadian National Sport" operating mostly in USA. I was a baseball total fan in the 80's but i am not able to watch a single inning now. And it's not because of the Expo.

I think Forsberg will be injured for some (or worse) most of the season and look for Spezza to have a breakout year.
