When's a good time to NOT visit Montreal?

I'm sick of being in the city and not being able to see any SPs I'm interested in. I've been to Montreal 3 times in the last 3 years and have only been able to see 2 ladies i was interested in, and that was on just one trip. The rest of the time I had no luck, as most of the ladies I wanted to see were out of town, retired by the time I got there, or just booked solid. It seems there's always some huge event or two going on in the city when I'm there. Plus, I'm reading through the reviews and some guys are booking literally 5 girls each night, for 5-6 nights in a row, further decreasing availability.

So anyhoo, what times have you guys found the BEST availability of SPs? I'm seriously considering visiting the city specifically to see some of these wonderful ladies you guys are raving about. If I do this, when should I NOT book a flight and hotel room there? Talk to me.

Late December to February is probably the best time as we locals burn our money and time on Christmas stuff. I've never seen so many price reductions advertised as I have recently. I doubt that the agency owners are providing specials out of altruism.

I have had bad luck there in the summer. The girls are either booked or are away on vacation.

I once spent a long weekend there in the summer and I could have taken my mother with me. There was absolutely no action to be had.

I would say that the best time NOT to come to Montreal is during the major summer events (Grand Prix, Jazz festival, etc.) unless you are interested in these events. If you are just interested in relaxing in Montreal and enjoying the SP hobbying, stay away from the major summer event dates. Prices for hotels skyrocket during these dates.

You are finding out what many of us visitors have already experienced. There are many reviews of gems, but the reality is there are just a few, just like any other city. They work when they want and are not always available, even though they may be listed on the websites. Sometimes they are listed on a website after they have officially left. I have gone during the Summer and Winter and it's the same.

Do not get too hyped up based on the reviews. I have found even the most highly touted providers to be about 7's. Good, but not enough to lose any sleep over if you missed them. You can have fun in Montreal, but keep the expectations in check and you will have a better time. The girls you have "missed" are probably not that much better than those you have seen.

I'd say my least favorite time to be in the city would be the Holidays, Christmas & New Years. Alot of agencies are closed the days before and after and alot of ladies take this time after New Years to go on vacations and recharge their batteries in the heat of Cuba.
