Where's the best Asian food in Montreal?

I second the vote for Beijing. It's awesome. I especially like their shrimp with lobster sauce which is served with a black bean sauce.
If you like soup dumplings there is a great spot in Chinatown II. Forget the name of the place but it's right on St. Catherine. They make the dumplings in full view of the customers.

For Vietnamese I like Le Red Tiger, 1201 Boulevard de Maisonneuve. It's cool, it's hip and the food is awesome.
When I clicked on the thread I assumed asian food was a metaphor for something else!
There are a few good Vietnamese places on St. Laurent in Chinatown. The one I like is called Pho Bang New York. They make a Bangin' Pho
It does kind of suck in ambience. Sort of like a cafeteria feel to the place. But their Pho is on point
There is this "Seoul Chako" all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ in St Catherine near Guy/ Concordia
I have never been, but I live nearby and there is always this gigantic line to get in... every night... so it must be good

I tried it 2 years ago, when you are really hungry it will totally fill you up with lots of choices. My advice is to stick to the grilling stuff, forget the bad sushis or the other things that are there to stuff you quickly.

Good small vietmese restaurant, located on Prince-Arthur, west of Saint-Laurent. Menu offers very fresh and tasty products. Not many tables so better call and make reservations.

Definitely not, but I have seen some hot Asian women in there. Hot girls dig Pho, just like they dig home runs LOL:
Cafe Saigon on St-André is my all time favourite. Hong, on St-Denis, corner Bienville is also very good.
I went today, it was so-so
I agree the grilling stuff was much better than the sushis
my main complaint: hip-hop / rap music that was way too loud

That needs to be stopped. On another note, loud and inappropriate music is one of my pet peeves at restaurants. If I can't hear myself talk I never go back.
I used to go to Star Noodles (or whatever the name was back in the day) years ago. But management keeps changing, so dunno the current quality. Last time I tried (a few years ago), wasn't as great as before.
The place that I go to now is "PM" which is in the same area. Portions could be better, but I find the food quality excellent:
