You must have misunderstood me. I do not think that Paris is for French people only or that London is for English people only.
Montreal is a biligual city. This is correct.
Here three facts for you, to help illuminate my point:
- The majority of people who live in Montreal speak both English and French
- The majority of tourists and business travellers to Montreal speak English and do not speak French.
- Most escort agencies are highly dependant on visitors to Montreal for a significant portion of their revenues.
Therefore, one can extrapolate that:
- A French name will attract the majority of people who live in Montreal
- An English name will attact those people above PLUS visitors.
Net result is more business (in Montreal, in this industry) using an English name.
I think having a bilingual website is a good idea whether the name is English or French.
I also don't think anyone ever said there was anything "wrong" with having a French name. It's just probably not the best business decision in this particular case. I don't think anyone would complain if she chooses a French name. I will even lend some suggestions:
