Why do men fall for photos that have been obviously modified either the body or the face. I see a lot of people being surprised that the person they wanted to meet doesn’t look like their photos but when I look at the ads the photos look straight out of Uncanny Valley.

I see it on Twitter too, people will see those same women and tell them “you’re out of this world! Beautiful” damn right she’s out of this world

I think it's because we (dudes.. thinking with their little head) are stupidly optimistic when in our fantasies.

I find myself with the mindset of "well they wouldn't be successful if they were false-advertising". I'm a businessman.. and that shit wouldn't fly in an industry where we make decisions with full clarity of mind. The businessman in me would want to walk away if I answered the door and the person didn't look like the ad, at all. The horny deviant would think, "fuck it, not my proudest shag but let's roll with it. Not like I'm a 10 either."

Funny you should mention this...

2 weeks ago, I attended a new restaurant opening in downtown (Zoelle: nice place for those interested)... many beautiful people and many dressed to impress. I noticed many pretty girls who had lip fillers.... some thicker than others... my reaction was "why???", they are messing up with their prettiness. Men are not interested in that... a few may be, but I think most are not. Those who write what they did, they are amongst the "few", not the "most".
