Would the agencies close again, if we move to "code rouge"?

So, looks like it's imminent now, but would the agencies close again, or take any extra measures to limit the spread this time around?

It's a good question. Logically, if they closed before, this seems like the same reasons would apply to do so again.

We must not give up, we must try to defend ourselves.

Otherwise mental illness will become unmanageable. And many people will die.

Even I, who am an optimist, are starting to be less so.

Quickly a protective drug, or an effective vaccine.

IMHO, neither a protective drug or a safe and reliable vaccine will be available for years... government or health agency that want us to believe that are lying for obvious political reasons. Just consider the seasonnal flu vaccine which is a known enemy for many decades: some years it is 10-20% effecient, others 50% and at best 60%.... For people that are at risk because of health issues or age it is better than nothing and I agree with its use. Covid-19 is somewhat different because it is new and we as a society don't know how to handle it. It is also similar to seasonnal flu becausee it seems in general to affect more severely the elderly and people with medical issues. There are exception of younger people seriously affected too, but there will alway be some. As a society we will need to learn to live with it while protecting the more vulnerable. I encourage you to read this if you think a vaccine will be available shortly : https://www.nytimes.com/2020/09/02/opinion/coronavirus-vaccine-trump.html

Everything will close, cases will drop, everything will open, cases will go up, everything will close, cases will do down, everything will open up, cases will go up.
See the Neverending cycle.
As long as schools are open it will continue to be a wildfire with new cases going up more and more on a daily basis.

They like to blame 18-36yo but the truth is that everything was going pretty well until schools reopened... and even if that age group has more infections than others, that's not because of partying, it's because 18-36yo are exactly the age group that has young kids going to school.

So it won't matter AT ALL what they do, because they made it pretty clear that completely closing schools again is off the table.

I think just in terms of ethics, yes they will close down, just like before.

You cannot compare the flu vaccine to any potential covid vaccine. There are literally hundreds if not thousands of influenza strains out there. The flu vaccine in any given year is a quadrivalent vaccine that has only 4 strains in it based off the educated guess of epidemiologists on which strains will be most prevalent in the upcoming flu season. This is the main reason why you see such varying degrees of effectiveness in the vaccine from year to year. If you catch a different strain, the vaccine just won’t be very effective.

There are currently just a handful of covid strains. As long as any vaccine that comes out illicites antibody production and more importantly T-cell production, it will be far more effective than a flu vaccine in any given year.

You are absolutely right, the antibodies and T cells (mainly CD4) would be more effective than a vaccine.

CD4 T cells are activated by cells that present antigens in the lymph nodes when a pathogen is detected.

Oh yeah, sure they will close down. They want to look responsible to the authorities.

Everyone running around all paranoid make me laugh. They watch the shiny box and listen to Francois Legault's religious-like speech. ''Je crois qu'enssemble ont peux combattre cet ennemie et retourner a la joie avec notre famille'' (lmao)
Y'all make me laugh, sure go ahead and shut down every business again. I don't care I work from home. Let's normalize all of this, the news cycle will be entertaining to say the least.

I would hope that they use common sense and stay open unless the situation gets really sure... I don't think going back to the lockdown is a sane option. It's only going to hurt us even more long-term. But will see how it goes, I definitely missed out on a lot beautiful ladies this year...

IMHO, SPs provide essential services. They provide us an avenue for release: emotional, sexual, physical, etc, releases.

While most of us are rational, we all take calculated risks--driving on the freeways/highways involved calculated risks, yes this analogy is very imprecise but staying locked up at home has caused lots of mental (and physical) stresses upon everyone. The entire world has gone through some form of lockdown to combat this 21st century pandemic.

I'm certain that agencies like XO and Euphoria that offer incall services lost a good chunk of monies when they had to shut down; the SPs too lost critical earnings. It's a tough call, and I hope escort agencies (and other service providers like restaurants) can remain open and that they implement safe practices to reduce the risks of contracting or transmitting SARS-CoV-2. Nothing is bullet proof; life must go on. Luckily, the medical providers are better prepared to treat patients who have contracted the dreadful virus. The hospitalization, ICU usage and death rates in Quebec have been quite "low" especially if the nursing home tragedies are factored out. Getting infected does not automatically result in death or serious illness.

There's no easy answer, especially for all service providers in the economy. Every country is undergoing its own "social" experiment in order to control the spread of SARS-CoV-2. Shutting everything down create long-lasting problems. Let's hope for the best for everyone. We really are all in this together.

Give it time the SARS-CoV-2 will mutate and adapt with the possibility of more different strains. H1N1 dates back more than a 100 years....

Yes in all areas, the more you are the more tired everyone is.

We must hold on, hold on, until the end of this global nightmare.

What I hope is that the indies and the agencies take more action, even if the risk will always remain there.

I have come to the point (certainly unrealistic), where I hope the virus will go away on its own.

These viruses want to reproduce, and this one absolutely wants to reproduce en masse.

And the virus found us. It's just one way of explaining the situation.

Especially if you have a family or friends or colleagues to consider.

Yes, this is a chain.

If I lived with someone, I would have stopped meeting since March 13.

I consider myself extremely privileged. I live alone, I even stopped golfing, I did not go out to the restaurant. And since the activities stopped, it was easier. I don't move around, and I always get the same girl.

I'm not sure that works. The "same girl" has multiple clients which translates to increased exposure exponentially.
Her other clients might think the same way you do, stick to "one girl".
