Would you still see your favorite SPs as they get older?

I would agree with pretty much everything you said.
I do have a question though.
What do you consider makes a sex worker successful? Income, being around for many years, being attractive. Having a good regular clientele.
It depends on her goals, it means different things to different people. Having the amount of bookings she wants when possible, income, gaining freedom in the industry.. in the sense that after a while you can enforce certain boundaries and make more decisions. It's not the other way around.

Some sex workers only want 2 or 3 bookings a week or even a few a month and they adjust their rates for that purpose and prioritize longer bookings. They have been around for a while and they know what they prefer.

It takes a while to be able to choose your clients and curate an energy that you like best during bookings. The more you invest into this endeavor the more likely you are to succeed but it takes a lot of energy.. For sure that involves taking care of your physical appearance and your health but it doesn't mean you have to look like a super model or a 20 year old.

But I also think what some do to succeed isn't cute.. to me it's not sustainable if you have to talk shit about other women or back stab them to get clients to choose you over them or to sabotage who you view as competition. I don't see that behavior in 35+ year old providers.

I saw a great and charming SP a few times when she was in her late 20's, in fact I think it was my first experience f that kind. I think she retired for a while then went back to it in her early 40's and I was eager to see her again, she was a really cool person. She looked more mature and even more beautiful but experience was disappointing. I think her heart wasn't in it any more or maybe it was just a bad day for her but I got the feeling she'd become jaded, fair enough. Don't think she worked much longer and hope she went on to really good things she likes because she's a smart and good woman.

Yes, ofc. They're favourites because of the connection we've built over time. So age isn't a bad thing, it's a reflection of our shared experiences.
On the same boat here.

Also if the SP gets old, we are getting old too.
Our mindset and/or what we are looking for might shift with the age as well.

Rather than jaded, I think personally I would use the term "burned out". It's temporary and I think we all go through it from time to time, no matter how old we are and how long we've been in the industry.. Some women have told me they experienced a honeymoon phase when they started sex work, and then they kinda "came down to earth" so to speak. I experience burn out once in a while, I was really burned out last fall. Thankfully I was privileged enough to go on vacation twice and it refreshed my spirits. :) We all have bad days and difficult phases sometimes. I know personally what my limits will eventually be like, and I think in the next few years things may change a lot in how I am present in the industry, but for now I'm having a blast!

I realized that you said she actually took a break and came back, so maybe you're right. I heard the industry changed a lot, and many providers are retiring.. I still wouldn't say it's about being jaded, it's more that this industry is tough. Personally, I try to see the positive in every situation and I am appreciative when I meet clients and colleagues I get along with, and when I get good surprises
