For me Ron Fournier rules....
I don't have cable tv but I do beleive that RDS is aired in Quebec only.Correct me if I'm wrong.
TSN is coast to coast,so it's normal for hockey fans in Montreal,Calgary.Vancouver,ect....to feel a bit neglected whith all this attention given to the Maple Laughs. Most of them don't give a damn about the Laughs,so all this Laughs coverage becomes irritating in the long run I believe.
Best thing to do though is to complaint directly to them.
Once again, correct me if I'm wrong, but don't they have an all-Maple Laugh station in Toronto?
Doc,you never said Paiement was a bad player but you did say he was a journeyman, just like Pat Hickey.
The Habs back then were interested in Paiement, they badly needed a big power forward to complement the lack of size and muscle up front.
Lafleur,Acton,Napier,Houle,Mondou,Larouche,Shutt,Jarvis ect...were beign pushed around due to thier lack of size and the only muscle we had up front(Gainey,Tremblay,Nilan) weren't offensive players.
The Habs were short changed by their arch-rivals Nordiques and eventually settled for Ryan Walter and Bobby Smith.
Both valuable acquisistions, some may argue, even better than Paiement.
My 5 ¢ this time.
