mysteriously a recently submitted thread about the potential failure of wyclef jean’s wish to be a candidate for the presidency of haiti disappeared from merb ??

i’m wondering who removed it ? moderator or thread starter ?

to my understanding, i sensed the thread starter had issued the thread as a complaint because wyclef jean is a native french speaker. i took exception as i found the thread starter’s intent had a racial linguistic overtone and i countered with the following. curiously after i posted my statement and question the thread disappeared.

whether he's white, black or any mix, whether he speaks french, english, italian, swahili or any other language, or whatever religious belief a person follows, all this doesn't matter if he or she fails to meet the domestic qualifications of a country.

Grand Stratégaire would you ask to same question if the candidate was an english only speaking fanatically religious muslim born in iran and wants
to be the president of the united states?

I agree, he only had money and heart. Its not enough.

He should at least started out on the council and eventually move up to president.

My first reaction could be the same but... specially with politics ? Anybody could do a better job than politicians... That is 'Anybody who really cares about people before caring for him or herself.

As for Haiti ? You'de have to be somewhat naive to think this country can be run like one from the G7-8-20 (whatever).
