I totally agree and mentioned it many times in the past, once or twice directly to Fred when he was still with us. I am a member of some video game website wich use very similar type of forums, not sure if exactly the same but very close and they allow like 250 messages or such...

I know as an advertiser you can have a bigger box but even there i think its 150 (not sure but around that) wich i still find pretty small for peoples that get probably lots of questions/messages, we see often advertisers be mentioned in this thread too...

I know you can also pay to have your name in red like advertisers but its pretty expensive, not worth it for just a bigger pm box and an avatar to me... For a one time donation of 20$ or something, i would had paid it, but not each month...

I think the default limits should be at the very list 100 for normal users, 500 for advertisers...

Also dunno if its changeable, but i would like that i don't have to always go delete my sent messages.

Anyway i guess in the end its a minor thing and im very glad to be on merb too, i love this board, obviously but if there is one thing that annoys me, its that one.
