I'm not into conspiracy theories, but would still find them sometimes interesting
since they imply a lot of imaginative approaches.

I agree completely, that's my point in refering to Ockham's Razor, it's just implausible... it's too complex to mount that kind of conspiracy and doing so would involve tons of people. No way to keep that many people from talking.

Eventually it would get out and then how would you look in history?

I think G W Bush is far more interested in his place in history than money.

Nothing is too complex when you have the entire resources of the most powerful nation on earth available to you.
We all know that wikipedia can be edited by anyone, anywhere...it's not a definitive source.
