Joe, I don't see the Patriots as weak AS YOU WISH. Based upon what I'm observing, the Dolphins are prepping for a much better than average 2014. I wouldn't be surprised to see them in the AFC Championship Game. Super Bowl material.....no, they haven't come close to convincing me yet. But at least I'm not ashamed to be a fan.:D:lol::wave:

CBS Sports says that Albert is an upgrade over Martin, I think that the Dolphins are heading in the right direction(1st place, My prediction).

Joe.t,

The Jets released Santonio Holmes and their remaining receivers are terrible. If they pick up DeSean Jackson as is being rumored, they could be much improved, but I think they need 2 or 3 receivers.

I would not call Eric Decker terrible. Yes Vick is no Peyton Manning but Vick is also better than Geno Smith. However the Jets do need another rec.

Ohhhhhh boyyyyyy!!!!, I am hearing this as I type, this would be absolutely sick!!!, especially with Decker on the other side, start the parade down broadway, no more Brady, no more mentioning of New England unless the discussion is about last place.

I forgot about the Decker signing. But they still need a 2 and 3 receiver. Jackson and Decker would be a nice set of targets for Vick who will beat out Smith as the smarter in the Morningwheg system. I thought Smith played well at times as a rookie but he was erratic and there is no patience for growing pains in NY.

Good for the Jets! Anything that might help push that crappy team from near Baw-stin out of the playoffs is good stuff. :thumb:

On another note, Chad Johnson aka Ocho-Cinco, has signed with the Alouettes. I like the part where he told them (after signing a "standard CFL contract" whats that, $25,000 a year?) he "just wants to play" I am sure he will be playing alright, with the sexy ladies of Montreal more so than playing on the Football Field

Another signing by the Jets(my Super Bowl pick) that drives the stake further into the heart of the regressing, old, Patriots.

I expect to make a ton of money betting against the declining, overrated, old Patriots next year.

You might not have to worry about the Pats but don't sleep on the Bills, playoffs this season!

Great minds think alike.:thumb:

The Buffalo Bills could be a sleeper team, I think that it's a put up or shut up season for their team and their qb, can't wait for the draft in a couple of weeks, a lot of draft experts are saying that the Bills will either draft the best tight end in college(Hebron) or the best inside linebacker(Mosely), either way the Patriots are in a heap of trouble with their old, declining team.

It'll depend on how healthy they'll remain. They can't lose the starting QB for too many games. It's also too bad they couldn't hold on to last year's defensive coordinator (Mike Pettine), but i'm hoping his replacement will be more than adequate.

The head coach will also have to avoid some key mistakes he made in his rookie season, like going with the hurry-up offense with less than 6 minutes to go and the Bills leading. I'm not crazy about the hurry-up if you can't get any first-downs on a regular basis. The tired defensive is constantly on the field when this happens & the offense can't get any momentum.

I'm hoping they draft a defensive player. Tight end isn't one of their needs right now. I'm happy with Scott Chandler. You also win with defense. No one wins without a great defense, even if you're Peyton Manning. Defense, defense, defense!

That was me and I have said it many times, what an ugly, overrated woman, she could easily pass for a man if she had short hair.

The annual NFL draft is on Thursday and I can't wait to see who the Raiders, Bills and Jets draft, I expect to make BIG money AGAIN this year, the only time that I ever lose is because anon_vlad made the same pick as I did, the guy is a jinx and couldn't make a correct pick if his life depended on it.

Hey anon, this year do me a favor, post your picks here ahead a time that way I will pick the opposite.

You seem to be losing plenty without my help.

On merb, after posting you picks, you can pretend that you bet the other side or bet very little on the losers and lots on the winners. Sadly, that doesn't work quite as well with the bookies and the Ontario Sports Lotteries.

There is a saying that the worst thing which can happen to a person is having his wish granted. I will be happy to do what you believe is a favor as soon as you make good on the $360 bet you boasted of welshing on this website. If I am so bad at picking, you will more than make up the money and you can imagine yourself as an honest man again.

And while you are at it, MAN UP! Gisele being bigger and in better shape than you doesn't make her mannish. Keep your hair short, work out and you won't need to be so jealous. Who knows, maybe some day (in the distant future), you'll look a little masculine yourself.

BOYZ,

GISELE BUNDCHEN LOOKS LIKE A MAN!!!!!!!

Gisele looks terrific. She has an off-beat look that's still hot, though I don't see how it made her $300 million. I find many others much hotter. But I have to say Brady looks like and incredible dork in that shot. Even I'm embarrassed for him this time.

... she could easily pass for a man...

Unlike a welsher. You know Joe, a welsher is just another cheater. MEN DON'T WELSH.

...imagine yourself as an honest man again.

Forget it anon, he never had it in him.

:noidea:

Anon, I'll make a bet with you on all of these points and I guarantee I'll win.

When the next NFL thread is started Joe will:

1. Pick the Patriots to finish last.

2. Pick some crap teams to go to the Super Bowl.

3. Do worse than everyone else picking teams and still think he's great.

4. Spend all year hating the Brady and the Patriots.

5. Hide who his favorite team is because of embarrassment.

6. Not pay off his welshing debt.

7. Put the Joe.t curse on his Super Bowl pick.

No this is not genius...just a repeat of every year.

GUARANTEED, :thumb:

NFL DRAFT DAY what are your predictions?

I think Clowney will go #1 to Houston to replace Mario Willaims and that the Rams will trade their #2 to Atlanta.

I hope the Bills select Jake Matthews with the 9th pick
