The Authorities Now Want Taxi Drivers and Hotel Workers to help fight against sexual exploitations (prostitutions). Will this become what happened in East Germany and China's Cultural Revolution?

Imagine hotel workers calling the LE to report suspected prostitution inside a guest room. What does a John say if the LE "breaks" down the door -- we were just watching TV together.

Yikes? Beware of course. But how do we keep the Hobby safe in Montreal and surrounding townships? (I apologize in advance if I don't keep up with this thread.)

Let's hope the LE's primary focus and interest are to protect the public during the GP. The crowds will outnumber the LE's by a large margin. Festivities like the GP are soft targets for deranged extremists. Public safety should be a paramount mission of the LE and politicians. And, of course, combating exploitations of minors must be given foremost priority by everyone, especially the LE and politicians, for we all must protect children.

Safe, responsible hobbying for everyone, especially the SPs.

Yeah, for the extra security staff that hotel may hire -- these folks receive big rewards in the way of tips (hush monies) from guests who are Johns and eye-candies (beautiful SPs) walking around. It's all good as long as no one is harmed and no underage girls are trafficked or otherwise exploited.

The TO Raptors put TO and Canada on the NBA global map. GP put Montreal on the global map for racing enthusiasts and car nuts.

I highly doubt any sane hotel employee would report suspected Johns or (adult) Escorts to Management for fear of losing their jobs (and for mistaking "innocent" guests).

I was just on Crescent street walking through the stalls and booths and the music stage. There must be 200+ police officers already deployed in and around the area, and it's not even dark yet. Will there be enough police officers to patrol the rest of Montreal and areas where hotels and motels are located this weekend. I'm glad the police is providing public safety at some of the GP events, but do they have enough resources to even tackle minor exploitation this weekend?

As many of you said, it's all talk and no substance from the politicians and the police management.
