No Julia, it’s because repetitive posting that shows ignorance rather than someone using the search function and figuring things out. Period. I don’t find this board as useful as I once did except for b/c with a few people who are very low profile.
I have never been fond of the search function on MERB. Maybe I am just another idiot but it works poorly for me....Like searching for girls such as my favorite Liz from the past....anyway, everytime you start saying that senior posters add nothing I get defensive but I remember I did write 4 reviews in Montreal and I wrote four in other cities so I hope it is not me that you are finger pointing at. I did take some time off.
I do agree with you that back channels are more helpful these days but it took several years as a member of MERB to make those back channels (bcs). Anyway, when I first started hobbying without MERB things were hit or miss. With MERB I really have only had one bad date and I would call that a good date compared to some of the experiences I used to have in the USA or like the shit experience I recently had with a bad threesome at Oase this year....the parties opened up more bcs than I could imagine. I also have met more guys on MERB that have helped me when hobbying both inside and outside of Montreal than on any other of the boards combined. Whoareyou and Protag knew more about Sao Paulo then my buddies in Sao Paulo and I met them on this board. Smuler is like having a guy on mission control in the FKKs and Argentina and I met him on this board. I could go on.
I hate to think what guys would do without this board who are new to the Montreal scene. For you new guys, stick around, read the board and then write a few reviews...attend a GT or two. This is still a great resource. We just forget sometimes.
