The arrests do not target protesters but rather violent anarchists who have organized events in Portland in recent days with intent to damage federal property.

Clearly stated as a CBP special task force working under the Protecting American Communities Task Force. Moreover, DHS agents are not required to wear identifiers when conducting arrests - FACT. These unmarked type of arrests happened frequently under previous administrations and are left to the discretion of supervisors as there could be tactical advantages to proceed accordingly.

Hasty generalization suggesting that arrests must occur where crimes occurred otherwise there is no crime.
