I think both of these industries are a massive problem and it's not just one of them.. the issue with how a lot of people approach the future of the environment is that they make it about personal responsibility, when in fact it's huge companies and the 1% of hyper rich people who are causing most of the problem..

I just think people don't see the crazy weather as a symptom of climate change. Sounds like you guys had some heavy rain recently in Montreal. The storms seem to be more extreme in the USA even with warmer winters. So if you.cannot see a slow change overtime in winter or increase in things like cancer, respiratory illness or what not, there is a lot of inertia. there's a lot of denial for sure. the recent heat wave was really intense for me, i was very sick most days.. its not something i usually experience. i think people close their eyes on things they dont want to see because they feel powerless or they dont want to have to question themselves or mobilize
