It's Grand Prix weekend, what's your plans?

I always ignore it personally. This mean lots of tourists so girls harder to book, hotels at insane prices, traffic jams maybe even. Unless some SPs i been eying for years from another city would just happen to be in town ONLY for that, then maybe i would go out of my way to book her that weekend, otherwise i let this weekend to the foreign tourists 100% at all time.

But i must admit i have no interest for the F1 as an event itself.

Does the week following F1 weekend usually lighten up, in terms of tourists, or does the residue effect spill over?

Hate it. Too much crowds, traffic jams, crowded metros, crowded clubs, high hotel costs, girls much harder to book. Canada's low currency value is bringing in too many tourists, it sucks for the locals because it makes prices go up.

Ohh. The week after is St-Jean Baptiste and then Canada Day. It will be full of tourists probably till Labour Day. Canada's low dollar brings in way too many tourists.

To me, the music at the downtown Grand Prix festival on Crescent street is lame.

Mostly cover bands or "DJs" playing music off their Spotify Playlist.

Stay away from downtown and everything associated with F1 as much as possible.

Makes no difference to me I don’t go downtown and the race itself is of no interest to me, one of the rare sports that I was never fond of.

I just assume a bunch of dirty pervs show up for F1, so I stay away from the SP scene for a while during and after.

coincidentally I went to Cleo's for the first time since last summer this evening around 9pm. Did not seem any different than any other friday early evening i have been there in the past. The girl I had a few dances with said the link between F1 weekend and sex-work is over-hyped.

Be careful. I had a group of friends attending F1 for years in Senna curve. We were chilling after the event, waiting for everybody quitting the site. One of the pack, came back from peeing and told us a couple was fucking in bushes.
We all went (6-7 guys) to see this unexpected extra show. I could clearly see guy’s bums going back and forth.
When they finished, we warmly cheered and applaud their performance. It was so funny.
