I think in the short term any age limit is ok so long as everything is consentual and both parties are legal adults. This business of shaming men who go for younger women is mostly due to sour grapes imho-- and this business of girl's brains not being fully developed until they're in their 20s is nonsense. .

That said if you're thinking long term then an age gap is a bigger road block. A 50 year old can have a lot of short term fun with a 20 year old-- but in the long term? By the time she's 50 he'll be 80...

It isn't nonsense, it's true for men as well. The prefrontal cortex develops in the mid to late 20s and not just for women. This part of the brain is responsible for cognitive functions like planning and decision-making.

I don't care who consenting adults are having sex with (though seeking someone specifically because they're young does get a side eye out of me), when it comes to dating, yeah, I have a hard time understanding what someone has in common with someone decades younger who was in high school recently

The girl at work was very weird, i guess i got so stressed because women looking at me like that as not happen to me in a while. But she is all over the place, i guess in her eyes i was the flavor of the month and she was online talking to many men , and me.

I am done with dating, and i am looking for a plan for retirement i am not there yet at 48 but getting close, I wanted to retire in Thailand near a sunny beach, but the visa situation, rise in cost of life, and apparently thai people who hate xpats discouraged me. You have the elite visa that you pay like 20000$ and you are free for 5 years but if you want to drive a scooter you need a driving license and its a huge hassle its like they are trying to discourge expat to retire there and many are leaving.

A guy recommended Cambodia, some of the sites are mindblowing, the cost of life is insanly cheap, take about renting a condo for around 300$ per month fully furnish, WI FI included etc. Food if local is also cheat, no need for a driving permit to ride a scooter, and the visa is a joke 280$ per year voila.

I am looking into Siem Reap right now. Also condo come with gyms and pools at that price.

Cambodian women, lovely , old school, looking for mariage and kids. Well at my age i won't have kids, not sure what will happen, my guess is remain single for the rest of my life and travel. Lots of expat are home base in Cambodia, you can fly to either Vietnam, Thailand in less than 1h.

I haven't been with an SP in a while also and i am slowly losing interest, my car cost me sick repairs 1300$ and i realise that this hobby is for men who have money, which i don't. Who knows maybe some day i will find another good SP but for now i am saving money.

True but I do think in general women mature faster (and many men never mature at all haha).

The prefrontal cortex develops in the mid to late 20s and not just for women. This part of the brain is responsible for cognitive functions like planning and decision-making.

I think a lot of this is environmental and that the the lessons of history speak against the viewpoint that people by necessity take until their 20s to fully develop cognitively. Prior to the modern era there were way more resposibilities, expectations etc. placed on young people-- and they more than rose to the challenge. Joan of Arc lead armies and conquered kingdoms when she was a teenager. On a different note many of the great innovations in mathematics, science and medicine have come from people in their late teens and early 20s. I know just from stories from my own family in an average household that once upon a time once you hit young adulthood you had way more responsibiliites and expectations placed on you than most young people do now. I think ultimateluy people have the capacity to be at the height of their creative and cognitive powers when they are in their youth. The problem is that we spend so much time infantizing, helicoptering and shielding young people from reality these days that it taks them longer to fully mature.

I have only seen 2 sps in their early-mid twenties and they're the 2 I had the least connection with, which makes sense. Sex was fine but conversationally/emotionally we just weren't on the same page (again, makes sense). Really finding my niche in late-20s to early-40s ladies with varied or unique life and sexual experiences.

Dating regardless of age is fine when both matching.

Issues occur more about vision in the long term as several shared about expectations in life. Do you want to have an active sexual life? Have physical activities? Travel? Dine out?
But the most unpredictable factor is illness and if you are officially and legally committed to a relationship you will need to deal with that ..
