So, imagine this: We start our evening at this little hidden gem, Le Club Chasse et Pêche. You wouldn’t even know it’s a Michelin-recommended restaurant just by looking at the outside. The facade is pretty discreet—no flashing signs or big names, just a small plate with the restaurant’s name and the little Michelin plate next to it. It's almost like a secret you have to know about to find.

We step inside, and the vibe completely shifts. The ambiance is warm and intimate, with dim lighting that makes everything feel like it’s enveloped in a soft glow. You almost forget about the outside world. The place is quiet, hushed—just the gentle hum of voices and the sound of wine glasses clinking. It feels like we’re stepping into something special, something that’s just for us.

Once seated, we glance over the menu, but honestly, there's a special dish I'd suggest: if they have the bluefin tuna on the specials, you absolutely have to try it. They serve it as sashimi with heirloom tomatoes, and I swear, it’s like the tuna melts in your mouth, paired perfectly with the sweetness of the tomatoes. It’s simple, but it tastes like it’s been crafted just for this moment. That said, if the tuna isn’t on the menu, don’t worry—one of their regular dishes is the oven-baked oysters, and they’re seriously amazing. They come out bubbling and golden, with a delicate, rich flavor that makes them unforgettable. Either way, you can’t go wrong.

After we’re done with dinner, we take a leisurely stroll through Old Port. The streets are quiet, but alive with the charm of the city. We walk down this beautiful little alley that’s lined with trees—these tall trees with sharp purple flowers that almost seem to glow in the night. It’s like stepping into a secret garden right in the middle of the city. The whole walk feels surreal, like we’re in a movie.

Eventually, we arrive at Perché, this rooftop restaurant that feels like it’s perched above the whole city. When you step in, it’s like you’re floating. The view of Old Port is incredible, and by the time we’re sitting down, the sun’s starting to set. The sky turns this amazing blend of blues and oranges, just bathing the whole city in this warm, golden glow. It feels like we’re seeing the world from up above, like we’re watching the whole city breathe.

And as we sip our drinks, the sun slowly disappears behind the horizon, and the lights of the city start twinkling. Off in the distance, you can spot the Ferris wheel and the Chapiteau from Cirque du Soleil, glowing against the fading sky. It’s peaceful—like time just slows down, and all that matters is this moment.

After finishing our drinks, we leave Perché and walk hand-in-hand, taking in the quiet beauty of the Old Port at night. And when we finally make our way back to the bedroom, the city lights outside our window softly illuminate everything, and it feels like the night is ours.
The whole experience is just... perfect.
