Tyler Robinson a few hours after the shooting getting ice cream at a Dairy Queen.
Doesn't seem like the actions of someone that just assassinated someone and has the FBI hunting them.
Are you saying assassins do not like ice cream, or people on the run do not like ice cream? I do not think either is true. It's a food that a lot of people eat when stressed out. In fact, studies have shown that death row inmates often choose ice cream to go with their last meal.

Examples of Ice Cream in Last Meals:
  • Ronnie Lee Gardner:
In 2010, Gardner requested vanilla ice cream along with steak, lobster tail, apple pie, and soda.

  • Ricky McVey:
Before his 2001 execution, McVey requested two pints of mint chocolate chip ice cream.

  • Joe Arridy:
In 1939, Arridy, who was falsely convicted, requested ice cream for breakfast, lunch, and dinner on his last day.

ABC also made the right call with Kimmel, and not because they were threatened. On the subject of being threatened, no less a conservative than Teddy Cruz, Grandpa Munster himself, has criticized the FCC for threatening ABC:

“I hate what Jimmy Kimmel said. I am thrilled that he was fired,” Cruz said. “But let me tell you: If the government gets in the business of saying, ‘We don’t like what you, the media, have said. We’re going to ban you from the airwaves if you don’t say what we like,’ that will end up bad for conservatives.”

Though Carr’s comments have drawn widespread condemnation on the left, Cruz’s remarks represent one of the strongest denunciations of the threats against broadcasters by an elected conservative. Cruz also chairs the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, which has broad authority over the FCC.

I thought this was a look alike contest.
They could be twins.

Lol. America is such a fucking joke. So what are all y'all doing to celebrate National Day of Remembrance for Charlie Kirk on October 14th?
This could potentially become a mass casualty event. At various locations. Not something I want or wish to happen but the probability and potential is there.

Kind of feel like that's the plan. The Government has become a troll. They intentionally provoke people with the hopes that they'll react. Then they can swoop in, grab up more dissenting voices and put more pressure on the media to get in line.

Difference is that they made that decision the same way they make most decisions. MONEY. They figured they'd lose money by keeping her on TV.
Kimmel was fired because the government stepped in and threatened them if they didn't.

Reminder about what freedom of speech actually means - "prohibits Congress from restricting fundamental rights such as freedom of religion (both establishing a religion and prohibiting the free exercise of one), freedom of speech and the press, the right of the people to peaceably assemble, and the right to petition the government"

Trump said after Colbert's cancellation "Kimmel's next". Shortly after, the FCC (a government entity) threatened ABC/Disney with repercussions if they didn't get rid of Kimmel.

To make it clear - Kimmel was fired because the government wanted him fired. Roseanne was fired because the network was trying to make money. These are very different situations.

One of the big problems with this is that the FBI released alleged texts from Tyler to his GF/roommate. They read like a 40 year old pretending to be a 20 year old, while also making sure to provide a point-by-point description of what he was doing. In those texts he says that he's waiting near the forest to retrieve his rifle. So what is he doing at a DQ that's a 17 minute drive away?

Another odd aspect to this is that the person mainly bringing attention to these pics is Candace Owens. She's a bit of a Right-wing loon, but she seems like one of the few people actually mourning Kirks death and not trying to take advantage of it. When Kirk died, everyone was either condemning and blaming the left or making light of it and condemning Kirk's controversial takes. Candace just posted pics of them having fun and being friends. I kind of suspect they were sleeping together.

IDK about you but if I had just shot someone and had the FBI hunting me, I wouldn't be stopping by the DQ for a blizzard.

That's not true. The FBI wasn't "hunting" Tyler Robinson. They had nothing until he confessed to his parents, and they turned him in. And if he thought he was being hunted, the last place he would go would be to his family. Whom he could have expected would do exactly what they did: turn him in.

He didn't think he was hunted at all. He wore no alien outfit like he did at UVU. He thought he was in the clear when he returned home. He did what he normally did- ate Dairy Queen ice cream. Why wouldn't he? He had nothing to worry about until his father recognized the pic that the FBI released.

Thing is, no one really cares about her. She's the bargain bin version of Vicki Lewis. Cancel her all you want.
This is exactly what’s broken in society… people only care when it serves their agenda. If you don’t like her, you turn a blind eye and stay indifferent. Accountability vanishes the moment it becomes inconvenient. This isn’t about justice, it’s about control. People don’t care about what’s right, they only care about what’s useful.

Ummm....What do you think the FBI was doing all that time? Just hanging out and hoping someone confessed? They tried that and had some old dude claimed responsibility. That obviously didn't work out.

I've never shot anyone, but I certainly wouldn't be chilling at DQ. I would be hiding in a place where no one could see and identify me.

If we're going by the BS texts the FBI released, he'd probably be at his apartment with his trans lover proclaiming his undying love.

However.... Who can really say what a person that's willing to assassinate someone is thinking. Unfortunately that will not vibe well with the Right's desire to portray him as a product of left-wing ideology, instead of just some crazy guy with access to guns.
