I noticed a lot of SPs just do not want DATY. This year I seen a few Merb advertised SPs, only one Yara was really down for DATY. Malika denied me. The others were okay. But unless a SP will really enjoy it, then I am not too interested to do DATY. The classic starfish girl is a total turnoff. DFK is a must and BBBJ is wanted.

That's the thing. We have reasons other than "wanting the service to feel transactional" or wanting to give bad service for having certain boundaries... There are services I enjoy offering, but I also know they can put me at risk for certain things. If I get a STI or another type of infection, that's also bad for clients. I won't be able to work for a while and I could transmit it to them. I still make the choice to take risks because I know in Montreal it's considered bad service if you don't do GFE as in acronyms... I think that's something to keep in mind.
We re talking about DATY and BJ its pretty unilateral unless you have special muscles that can work my tongue lol

Agreed but let's be real... Nobody is going to want to see a SP who is imposing the use of these. Unless people start taking their sexual health more seriously. Maybe it's a bummer to hear about STI risks but it's a very real thing we are dealing with. That's really lovely! I had a similar experience with a client who brought a dental dam. As much as I like my clients to enjoy their GFE experience with me, I would honestly rather be safe. Really often it seems like it's perceived as unkind and not generous if a provider doesn't offer bbbj or daty, but in reality this provider is just taking care of their sexual health and caring for other workers and for clients. Recently, there was a rumor that providers who offer cimsw are spreading STI's. I found that funny because honestly you can give or get an STI just from bbbj alone. I think it's a turn on and actually fantastic when clients care about everyone's health. It shows they have compassion. That doesn't mean you can't get a GFE service.. But I think in my opinion seeing many GFE providers and getting tested once or twice a year is a really bad habit.

Dealbreaker for me would be no hugs or cuddles of some kind. I don't even care about penetration. Just give me the skin to skin contact and kissing and I will leave a happy man. Sadly, those are the two things I crave the most and no longer get at home. Something changed a few years ago and my wife is not interested in anything physical since a little over 6 years. Found out about this part pf MTL this year and I partake in the illusion of physical intimacy on occasion.

I'm curious - how do SPs guarantee their own safety on the spot? Getting tested can help treat afterwards, but for prevention are you scanning everyone for sores or rashes? Sometimes those STIs can be asymptomatic.

Most of the time STI are asymptomatic and it takes a while until symptoms show. No matter how much we inspect clients there's still a risk particularly with men who see a lot of SP.
We literally can't guarantee safety. The most risky activity according to my nurse is daty. It's actually less likely to get an STI from BBBJ than from daty but both are risky.
It's not just on us to prevent sti. Most of us get tested every month.. I take prep and I have my Gardasil shots but because clients who see Montréal SP really value the GFE experience I have no choice but to take this risk.
I think clients have to do their part too. A lot of men seem to think you can only get something from bareback penetration and they minimize risks... I think it's delusional. Get tested every month, and maybe consider minimizing the risks yourself when you see SP...
I'm happy to offer clients what they want and I understand why it's important for them but at the same time I am risking my health for this. That in itself should be considered... It's the case for all of us and if we don't offer these services we'll get a bad review or won't get clients at all. It's a strange power dynamic
The point of this thread is to make clients understand the value of the experience we are offering. We understand all of these things are important for you.

What I heard is that it's easier to get an STI in the vagina or anus than the mouth but I'm not sure. A Dr and a nurse both told me this but Google says different things.. another thing to add is that having a STI or multiple STI down there can cause damage long term. It's not just sti you can get from daty too.. you can get UTIs, yeast infections etc.
Most of us aren't medically trained, myself included. I try to educate myself the best I can and most sex workers I know are very aware of the risks.
Wait, hpv vaccine isn’t free in Canada? I assumed all sp had the vaccine. I got the vaccine myself, but not in Canada.
