Follow up confession : I am embarrassed that I am so obsessed with my physical appearance and extremely self critical and even punishing, and I often worry that I will make my colleagues feel bad when I talk about certain insecurities. A lot of people can appreciate different types of beauty, but I was a child and a teenager during a time period when the beauty standards were horribly narrow and oppressive. Combined with having an obsessive and perfectionist personality and certain insecurities, it was the perfect recipe for developing certain obsessions.
This industry can be really hard for that, I feel scrutinized all the time and compared.. but at the same time, I get so many compliments. I just don't want to depend on compliments to have self worth, and I don't want to feel so affected by all of this. It sucks.

I dated an older man as a teenager too and it was absolutely abusive, I didn't realize it at the time tho. A lot of friends had similar experiences.. It was normalized back then, and men would seek out minors and very young girls to take advantage of them and manipulate them, particularly in certain scenes. When you are under a certain age certain power dynamics don't seem so clear. Even when I was 23, I had a boyfriend who was near 40, and looking back on it, the relationship was very unhealthy even if I was an adult.

Oui, malheureusement, j’aimais beaucoup aussi et c’était très près de chez moi (trop près même! ). Bien que je souffre d’intolérance au lactose, je ne pouvais résister.
Ils en ont sans lactose je pense! J'aime beaucoup Kem Coba dans le Mile End, un style similaire
Oui mais, sérieusement, tous les produits sans lactose ne sont que de pâles imitations qui sont loin d’être satisfaisantes en ce qui me concerne. Je préfère prendre le risque, car mon intolérance ne se manifeste pas intensivement à chaque fois.
Je connais aussi, par contre, je ne suis pas très friand des longues lignes d’attente. Unicone sur Saint-Denis est très intéressant mais, là aussi, lignes d’attente assurées.

Sinon Calem ont des succursales un peu partout voire des pop up. Mais ce sont les 2 seules places qui proposent des saveurs "asiatiques"/exotique
C'est vrai lol moi j'y vais à des moments spécifiques pour éviter la file d'attente. Mon autre coup de cœur c'est Iconoglace. Ils ont des versions veganes pour ceux qui sont intolérants au lactose et ça ne paraît vraiment pas (je ne suis vraiment mais vraiment pas fan de la nourriture vegan)
