I think they might be a bit older, 55 and up with a few 50 but not too far from retirement and provided this guy got enough to get a mortgage at 25. Typical mortgage length is 25 years which is very young it means this guy must have finished all his studies fast to get a well paying job fast. You do the math.pa

Payed off my house a couple month ago at the age of 45 . Bought it at 23 .However would never spend 4000$ on one girl one one night. But that’s just me .

You could find a normal sized home for 160k 20 years ago.

If someone was 20 in 2006 and bought a house back then with a 20 years term, he would have most likely paid that off by now and only be in his 40s

Especially considering the fact that this person probably has a spouse that he’s cheating on with me

In this day and age I doubt anyone has enough to buy a house at 25 or much less at 40. There are sure a few but not much. For sure in the 90s, but this guy would be close to his 60s today if he got a house at 25 in the 90s. I rest my case.
I like exceptions.

1. Why has this thread turned into a critique on the housing market?

2. Why is anyone that concerned about how other men spend their own money? It's giving bitter. Not a good look. Worry about your own wallet.

People can’t comprehend that some people make more money than them and want to spend in ways that they wouldn’t

I think they can comprehend it but are jealous and bitter about it, and get angry and try to convince other men that they should listen to them.

It's so weird. It's as if I, as a foodie, went out of my way to tell random people on yelp that 600 ~ 1000$ is a week's salary and that it makes no sense to spend that much on a dinner with drinks at a tasting menu restaurant.

I couldn't care less how other people spend their money, and neither should these men lol. I immediately assume someone is bitter and broke when they try to control other people's money or try to convince them to do things their way.
