Article says they pay $40-$100 a night to dance and sometimes allegedly make less than that....

Thats really hard to believe lol

Im friends with a couple...not in Mtl but still.

Also at Chez Paree everytime I went the amount of dances taking place and how busy the ladies were makes me skeptical...a few songs would add up to $100 which is the max house fee (which isnt the part thats hard to believe)

Those fees are usually at à gaffe clubs and they know they are making cash there that is why it is so high.

Ill be honest ...

First time i heard dancers had to pay themselves to work in a club i was stunned...

I mean i expected the club to pay them at least a basic fee. But i was told they actually had to pay a house fee.

That is wild...

Im not gonna pretend im a businessman and know how to run a club but lets say a dancer has a slow night...she could actually own money to the club. Its wrong to me.

If you bring dancers pay them...

Then i dunno ...if you wanna charge 1/2$ out of every 20$ dances in the booths then its another story but club should pay them to go on stage not the other way around.
