I will. But personally I reserve the right to avoid seeing someone if I don't like how he writes. I've avoided seeing certain clients because of this.

I know some will just hide their handle from me, and I wish they wouldn't because this isn't just for my own benefit, I'm also doing the client a favor.

I just want to add that the refusal to screen is kinda silly because none of us will ever do anything with the information we got.. some people are afraid of their names being associated with an agency, which is somewhat understandable. I'm personally tired of trying to convince clients they should screen, tho.

This! I sometimes accept a merb handle for screening. This one is from 2008 and has hundreds of posts so it would work for me.

Other options I accept (other than a reference) are : deposits (multiple payment methods available, like etransfer, gift card, throne or PayPal) or subscribing to my OF, or for outcall sometimes I'll quickly call the client's room if he's reluctant to screen another way, just to confirm he's at this hotel/room.

My first language is not French and I thought he meant he used to see indies and now wants to come back to the scene. I missed the subtlety of a preference for indies.

Oui, mais souvent les "psychopathes" n'iront pas jusqu'à feindre le respect pour rencontrer une TDS. Je sentais un manque de respect dès la première conversation pour la plupart de mes mauvaises rencontres.

Par ailleurs, une personne qui a de hautes tendances narcissiques ou sociopathes et qui souhaite te manipuler pendant une longue période de temps ne va pas révéler sa vraie nature tout de suite. Tu auras des indices au fil du temps, mais tu ne seras pas nécessairement en danger dès la première rencontre.
