"She has a regular job and I actually like that in a lady. "
I always find this to be strange, does society not consider escorting to be a regular job? It is a profession and a great income for many people out there.

I have different jobs that i partake in, but do I consider one of them my regular job, I don't.

I have one job, a second job and a third, but they are all my regular jobs. I have a day job, night job and part time jobs.

This is on my mind today.

Whats on yours?

Check back tomorrow, we will discuss if pigs can really fly. Fry yes, but fly?

That is what is on my mind today

Yeah being an escort is a regular job but is it a vocation. My vocation is being an artist, a writer, and practicing various things related to mysticism. Interestingly spending time on this forum and focusing a lot on my escorting job has kinda killed my creative drive and I should go back to nurturing my imaginative and spiritual self. Have a nice day folks

Careful not to get swallowed up by a crystal while doing your imaginative stuff! We wouldn't wanna lose you here!

I will be drawing and writing and listening to music, but thank you for the concern. I am not the type of fairy that gets trapped in a crystal and needs to be saved by a ''hero''.

Currently it's the change of seasons. Really enjoying the cooler mornings and when it's sunny and not too humid like yesterday. I am more pleased with a rainy day like today than a sunny 32 °C /42 with humidex.
Not me, I prefer sunny days like we had yesterday.. and I realized it's really important for me to go on vacation once in the winter to recharge, when I can afford it. But the extreme heat and humidity we had at some point this summer was hard to tolerate for sure

Lately I've been thinking about happiness. What is happiness? What is the meaning of happiness? Is it important to be happy? These are questions that have been asked for millennia by philosophers and regular people alike. Almost everyone wants to be happy, but it is surprisingly difficult for anyone to explain succinctly what it means for them to be happy.(give it a try). In reading about this topic, I came across the following quote from the philosopher Seneca: "What is the happy life? It is peace of mind, and lasting tranquility". I might have well found my answer.

Lately I've been seeking joy instead of happiness because looking for a permanent state of happiness will only lead to disappointment. Joy is in the little things. For example finding raspberries while you're on a walk, or discovering a new song you really love.

I agree with you. My post was more of a (pseudo) philosophical thought.

I am not that educated and Seneca is not one I regularly quote ;). However after she was brought back from the dead, Buffy the vampire killer was quite upset for being brought back from heaven and she explained that she was happy, at peace and among others things she said "I was warm and I was loved". Those 2 things pretty well sum it up for me. I think that Joss Whedon is a genius.

Bob (dit Elvis) Gratton, philosophe: "Le bonheur, c'est d'être heureux."
Falardeau aussi était un génie ;) (sans blague)

I know I deviated on the subject. I think peace of mind is important for sure, but in some cases constantly avoiding situations that could cause discomfort can actually interfere with finding joy, getting to know new people and having experiences that lead to growth. :) I also think it's really hard to achieve ''lasting tranquility'' in this modern world..

Currently on my mind: How much I should prepare for the eventual AI bubble bursting and taking down the economy with it.
