Euphoria agency in the news

This is sad news, a bad situation getting worse. Goodgirls (later spinning off Euphoria and another agency whose name I don't remember) filled the gap when Asservissante and Eleganza disappeared. Euphoria was good for a while. During and after the pandemic, it never recaptured its past glory days. This is really it - the chance to see young girls with a pretty face and youthful body is going to be as rare as seeing the unicorn.

I am more curious and worried about where these girls will be going instead of these journalists and their motives. I really like some of them but regret so much I did ask their number when I had a chance.
I got two phone numbers from Euphoria girls, and I deleted them from my phone after all of this CBC drama went down. I don't need that kind of heat.

Dude! As tu violenté les escortes que tu as vu? As tu impression qu’elles etaient exploités? Tu crois un reportage biasé au lieu de tes propres yeux?

It doesn't take a genius to understand that escorts have been taken advantage of and abused at agencies.

In all my time it happened once that I came into the room, saw the girl and knew something wasn’t right. She clearly didn’t want to be there.

I left the money on the table and left. Took a loss and never used that agency again.

You have eyes to see. Open them.

Yes, I can imagine her situation being much like that.

I recall an interview with her where she was asked directly if literally every client she saw mistreated her - and she said yes. Logically, we can suspect that to be an exaggeration (even though it's true for her), but the result of statements like that made out loud without any other context is that it really paints a picture for the public that the only people who see SP's are some sort of deviants who have no respect for women. It makes the industry as a whole seem decrepid. Oddly, it actually hurts the women more, as I think the general reaction is - "well this should be outlawed, full stop". (Because of course abuse should be punished).

Ultimately I wouldn't want to silenced obviously as her voice is important - but so far there's been nothing to provide any nuance to all this.
I just want to highlight the fact that everyone has different experiences in this industry once again.. and that maybe she felt mistreated by all of her clients, while another escort would react differently to those clients. I don't think men who see sex workers are deviants or at least not necessarily and I have said this before and I will say it again : almost all the bad experiences you have as a SP, you could have with somebody you went on a tinder date with. However, I do feel like there is a sense of entitlement among certain clients.

I also think it's delusional to think that nobody gets abused and taken advantage of in this industry. I just don't think outlawing this is the solution. It doesn't have to be this way. There are many preventive measures that could be taken.

I love this!

In pick up terms, booking an escort allows you to bypass the approach stage and skip straight to seduction but most guys forget they still have to be cool and seduce too! So many rewards to be reaped by seducing your provider instead magically expecting her to become your favorite pornstar

That's what I meant, and that can be very unpleasant when it happens. We understand that we are providing a service, but then everybody is talking about how consensual sex work should be, how much the escort is supposed to be enjoying the session or at least appearing like she does, etc. I have had sessions that were really really not enjoyable. During some of those sessions, I just kept smiling and acting, in order to avoid a negative outcome. In others, I just shut down or I told the client to stop being so rough or to stop doing what he's doing. None of them took it well. One of them wrote a passive aggressive comment on my review thread LOL

A couple months ago, I had a client book me at last minute for a 2 hour bbbj session outcall. I was very hungover but he had tried to book me multiple times and I decided to go because maybe he's going to be a new client who knows. I could tell our personality clashed when I arrived. He made me suck his dick without using my hands for 30 minutes, pushed for DT which I don't offer, then he changed the booking for GFE. After his first shot I was lying down with him and he started talking about my weight. He said ''you used to be very small but now you're more plump which is what I like, just don't gain too much''. I just wanted to fucking die, man. I put my clothes back on.. we went back to his living room and I thought 90 minutes had passed but there was one hour left. He didn't ask for a second service, and he didn't ask for one when we talked on the phone so I didn't try to initiate, I was really turned off. I mentioned that I was tired and he started saying ''if I wasn't a nice guy I would write a shitty review for you and send you home with half the money''. He didn't even pay the extra for GFE. I ended up staying an extra hour explaining that I didn't have bad intentions, I even offered a small discount for a future session because I felt so bad.

I'm not telling this story because I want people to feel bad for me but this type of thing can happen and I wonder where the consent went if I am threatened with bad reviews and told that I need to ''perform 200%'' (his words)..

This isn't something that happened with an agency, but I suspect girls at agencies deal with this type of guy too, at times. I'm not talking about someone who is majorly deviant here, but maybe kinda entitled and I didn't feel much sympathy from him.

Paying a stripper isn't illegal in Canada btw
Exactly. An escort agency that profits from arranging sexual services provided by others generally operates contrary to Canadian criminal law. The Canadian Department of Justice specifically explains that earning money by managing or working for a commercial enterprise, including an escort agency, knowing that sexual services are purchased there is illegal.

However, the Court also confirmed that sex workers can collectively hire receptionists, managers, drivers, security personnel, and other service providers. A worker-controlled collective can legally operate in Quebec. This is not merely a theoretical loophole, the Supreme Court expressly recognized such arrangements in 2025 (https://decisions.scc-csc.ca/scc-cs...2/index.do?iframe=true&site_preference=normal). A collective can potentially offer many of the same administrative and safety services as a traditional agency potentially reproducing much of the functionality of a commercial escort agency without reproducing its prohibited ownership and profit structure. The difference is not necessarily the number of services offered, but who controls the enterprise, who receives the profits, and what activities the enterprise actually undertakes. And regarding specifically advertising, a cooperative member advertises only their own services and that would be legally protected.

Given that the greatest friction point for workers is finding clients and screening through time wasters, and for clients it's also screening and scheduling, it seems that this would be legal and would be missing anything a commercial agency would offer.

That tracks. It’s weird to me that some guys do not make the distinction between this service and, say, a hairdresser. The intimate nature of what goes on demand that you address issues of mutual comfort and pleasure.

Now I say this but I am the kind of man who has a hard time being with a woman who doesn’t seem to want to be with me. So maybe I am the one with the weird outlook.

God you really need to start a podcast. The stories you could tell.

Not to say that they are at all similar, but there's also a level of client at restaurants who treat service staff incredibly rude in a very elitist way also threatening a bad review or to get them fired by the manager.

Most men don't want to be in a situation where they don't feel desired of course.. including clients of sex workers. There are a few bad apples who enjoy seeing someone who is uncomfortable and who are a bit sadistic. Such as the Merbite who threatened to fuck me in the ass during the service, leaving me feeling slightly worried and unsettled. LOL but most men want to be with a woman who looks like she is enjoying herself or at least in a good mood..

I think a big issue is that a lot of people feel discomfort around paying for these types of services, because they feel like they should be getting it otherwise. In fact, a lot of men are perfectly attractive and capable of getting p elsewhere, but they choose to see sex workers for other reasons entirely. So I don't understand why this is such a huge concern, and this insecurity should not be projected on us.. feeling bad about paying shouldn't be taken out on us.

And of course ''if I'm paying, I'm entitled to have a perfect experience'' which is what modern day consumers are told that they should think that.. the thing is, this isn't like getting your car fixed or getting a root canal, this isn't like buying a video game console and finding out it's defective. It's a human experience, it can't be perfect

The thing is that one of the major criticism of agencies is that they do not actually properly screen clients for the safety and comfort of workers, and what is acceptable is defined by them and not by the workers themselves. I understand why, because it's a business, but when it comes to giving the workers an optimal experience, it's not ideal. I know that women who work for agencies can blacklist a client, and that's great, but maybe a bad experience could have been prevented.. and maybe that client shouldn't keep seeing other girls at the agency. If I was an agency or MP owner, if a girl had a bad experience, I wouldn't be thinking ''oh maybe someone else can handle him''. I know technically, that could be the truth.. but I don't want my employees to be uncomfortable, so I would just ban him altogether, or I would warn the girls about him and ask them what they think and if they think they can see him, depending on how bad what happened was.

None of us know what will happen in the wake of the shutdowns of XO and Euphoria. I do think it's possible that this time of turmoil will pass and everything will return to normal for agencies.

But I think it's equally possible that there will be a major change in the industry, namely, that an alliance of the police, the government, the media and the abolitionists (esp. CLES and anti-prostitution feminists) will be able to shut down the agency part of the industry. At a minimum, the practice of using nice, conveniently located apartments/condos in upscale buildings seems doomed. The opponents of prostitution just won't tolerate it anymore. There may be some agencies that survive. But surviving might mean going back to the old ways of doing business i.e., smaller agencies with fewer girls, outcalls only and operators who are much more discreet.

As I have already noted, we could also see a complete shutdown of the agency model of business. The current hysteria is driven mainly by a perception that the agency way of doing business is inherently exploitative (this word gets used often by opponents). The propaganda is relentless: agencies are no better than "pimps"; they recruit and hire underage girls; their clients are violent; agency girls are forced to do things they don't want to do. Of course, you can find examples of all those problems, but the public perception is now that those problems are very common problems of agencies and the only way to solve them is to stamp out the agency model of business.

So is this the end of the prostitution business in Montreal? No, of course not! It will live on and even flourish just like it does in many other places that have few or no escort agencies, for example, most of the USA and France. But prostitution will only be allowed for independent escorts.

The "Nordic" style prostitution law in Canada is already set up perfectly to allow and even encourage the indy model because, it is perfectly legal for a woman to take money in exchange for sex but it is not legal for a guy to give money in exchange for sex. The stupidity and hypocrisy of such a law is obvious but it suits almost everyone (except men) perfectly.

The media, the police, the government, the public and the feminists can say: "See, we stamped out prostitution but we fully support prostitutes. We only want to criminalize evil men and not the poor women they are exploiting!"

Wait a minute! Doesn't criminalizing the clients of prostitutes make it much harder and more dangerous for many indy prostitutes to do business?

"Of course it does! But who gives a sh*t? We hate agencies and we just wanted to get rid of them. We don't really care about allowing women to make their own decisions in life. We want to control them and give them limited options. You can work as a prostitute but only under the precise conditions that we will allow."

OK, got it.

The Nordic model doesn't encourage ''the indy model'' at all..

It doesn't ensure that any form of prostitution is done in a safe way.

As indies we face different difficulties, our platforms getting enshittified, some getting shut down, censorship, etc. It's very hard to screen clients in this context and we constantly have to deal with the resentment of clients who are criminalized. Also, our work is still stigmatized.

Btw, we are seen as victims technically, but if we decide to stay in the industry, we are not ''good victims'', therefore we are not worthy of receiving any kind of help or tolerance. It doesn't serve us to be seen as victims. Generally people don't think very kindly of people who remain in places where they are victimized, particularly when it involves what they consider sexual objectification. I think some people here are under the impression that this supposed legal status makes us able to get away with anything and get sympathy from everyone because ''we are victims'' but that's simply not the case. Women are heavily judged for doing sex work, and most health care & social work resources are not equipped to deal with sex workers, whether they want to leave the industry or stay in it.

There are many advantages to being an indy, but many disadvantages. Particularly if you don't have a network of colleagues, or close friends in the industry.. it's extremely hard to succeed with your indy escort business. Also some of the women who are advertised as indies actually have pimps. Mind you, a girl who works for an agency also could have a pimp taking all her earnings.

Abolitionists and people in favor of the Nordic model don't understand that no matter what, unless society changes completely, there will be women who will do sex work. They are uncomfortable with the work itself and they focus on the worst abuses instead of actually sitting down with different workers who have different experiences to see what could be done. They focus on the fact that women in bad economic situations choose to do this work.. and they think it would be better working for minimum wage at mcdonalds instead. It's hypocritical.

I mean, LE said that they will be targeting clients too thanks to the increased funding so.. you never know. It doesn't have to be sting operations. They could decide to trace some clients back.

Dr. Mounir Bashour, a well-known Montreal eye surgeon, has been officially suspended and fired by LASIK MD following a major investigative exposé. The Collège des médecins du Québec (CMQ) is also moving quickly to enforce an emergency suspension of his medical license.

  • The Secret Identity: An undercover investigation by Radio-Canada’s flagship program Enquête revealed that Dr. Bashour was living a secret double life. Under the underground alias "Ryker", he operated as a primary recruiter and operator within a luxury escort network in Montreal called "XO."
  • Severe Abuse Allegations: Multiple independent sex workers and former partners came forward accusing him of physical assault and non-consensual violence. Complainants stated he had a dangerous fixation with biting and drawing blood during encounters, earning him the underground nickname "Docteur vampire" (The Vampire Doctor).
  • Targeting Minors: Journalists traced his digital footprint to online forums where, using his "Ryker" persona, he wrote explicit, non-consensual stories targeting a real-life 16-year-old high school student and expressed highly problematic desires involving minors.

⚖️ Official Actions Taken
  1. Clinic Ban: LASIK MD immediately suspended Dr. Bashour indefinitely and scrubbed his name, photos, and biography from their platforms. All of his scheduled patients have been reassigned to other surgeons.
  2. Medical Board Radiation: The Collège des médecins du Québec (CMQ) declared him an immediate threat to public safety and initiated emergency procedures to enact a "Radiation provisoire d'urgence" (emergency temporary revocation of his medical license) while urging more victims to step forward.
The Power of Media Bro. Du jour au lendemain ta vie est upside down. Anyways bien fait pour lui tho if what they say he did is true.
