By this logic, any money a SWer spends would qualify the recipient of the money as a pimp.Last time I checked, MERB makes money from indy advertising, so by that definition they are pimps too. And yet you are still here.

So if you can't beat them... join them?Okay so basically you want people to work in a sweatshop if I’m understanding your point correctly?
Why are you always so condescending and adversarial? Can’t you speak to people like a normal human being?I'm gonna hold your hand when I say this.... Those are also pimps. A pimp isn't necessarily physically violent or even coercive. A pimp is a pimp is a pimp.
I’m happy with the way things are currently set up personally. Middlemen(women) = job opportunities. So if you can't beat them... join them?
But in all seriousness, while I don't have any evidence to back up my assertion, I don't know if we can group all middlemen in the same group. Just like there are bad employers, CEOs etc, I would assume the same goes for agencies. The question we should be asking is why do we need them in the first place if not for the terrible behavior of the people on the demand side of things.
In a perfect world, prostitution should be legalized and protected which would eliminate the need for middlemen just like how they did it with cannabis. But then again, even if that were to happen, we can always count on the government to fuck it up royally and further marginalize an already vulnerable group on the supply side.

This is nonesense. In Cannabis, they became the worst middleman. The stock market doesn't show any success across the board, and the black market still thrives underneath anyway. In a perfect world, prostitution should be legalized and protected which would eliminate the need for middlemen just like how they did it with cannabis. It's not possible for everyone to go indy unfortunately. A lot of people don't have that option for a number of reasons. A lot of ppl don't understand what being indy involves. It's a lot of work and there are multiple risks.Going indy might be a better options for them in that case.
No, that's not how it works.. also I don't want to burst your bubble but we still live in a world in which rapists and sexual predators run free.. I've never met anyone who had someone convicted of a sex crime unless they were a child when it happened and there was solid proof (and having proof is rare in those instances )Can’t they report them to authorities in that scenario? Sexual harrassement, coercion, etc.
In my opinion that's not the same. Merb and tryst and leolist are advertising platforms. I'm not working for merb, there's no one here telling me when and how to work and taking a cut from every client I see or forcing me to see clients who are disrespectful. I just send money to some anonymous person and that's it. I pay to have my art advertised on Instagram. I've paid to have websites and I've paid minimal fees to exhibit my art in certain galleries.. you can't compare these thingsLast time I checked, MERB makes money from indy advertising, so by that definition they are pimps too. my point exactly. It's too much to ask to expect the government to do anything right. The black market became a thriving grey market although that's pretty moot with the current poste canada strike. This is nonesense. In Cannabis, they became the worst middleman. The stock market doesn't show any success across the board, and the black market still thrives underneath anyway.
I see your pointMerb sells an advertising package, which is a service, they're hosting our ads... And they don't take a cut from our appointments. This is a bad comparison. I'd have to give more money to a pimp in a day than I give merb in a month...
Merb doesn't arrange our appointments nor do they demand a cut..
Nope you hardly ever get anything right, but most of us are used to it by now.Okay so basically you want people to work in a sweatshop if I’m understanding your point correctly? You want a team that wakes up every morning (5days/week)
Provide prostitutes with an
- Incall condo location
- Multiple clean towels
- A booker that filter out the tricks (time wasters or serious inquiries)
- A driver for outcalls
- A maid to clean the appartements at the end of the work days (after midnight)
And these people should not dare ask for a salary? The prostitutes make 250$+/trick every workday but don’t have to contribute to shit that they benefit from the agency. Did I get this thing right Fradi?
And yet here you are still stuffing your nose in my threads while you could have kept scrolling and go on about your day. Guess you’re addicted by the proverbial “shit” that I keep throwing on the wall genius. Go figure! Agree to disagree as always.Nope you hardly ever get anything right, but most of us are used to it by now.
You basiclly throw shit up against the wall and then want to argue over if it smells or not.
Thankfully Mia from Xo started her own female led agency so hopefully things like this won’t happen over there. It's not possible for everyone to go indy unfortunately. Feeling is definitely not mutual, but I finally understand what type of troll I’ve been dealing with smh.Na, you are entertaining in a crude sort of way lol.
Merb is no different than Twitter or any other advertising platform with the exception that with reviews it contributes to the safety of Johns and for them to have a descent experience.Last time I checked, MERB makes money from indy advertising, so by that definition they are pimps too. Troll ? how many handles of yours need to be banned lol and yet you keep coming back.Feeling is definitely not mutual, but I finally understand what type of troll I’ve been dealing with smh.
