..and let's hope CANADA will impose a 25%/tariffs on oil and gas......that's what will hurt him the most....he needs these supplies/resources sooooo badly......GO CANADA......
Lol USA is ten times the size of Canada economically. It is kind of like when in a head on collision, the bigger one always wins. Trump can get oil elsewhere. At the end it is the working class that will pay the price on both sides of the borders. Canada had an idiot as PM for nine years, countries wanted our natural gas and oil but Trudope refused. Japan and Germany wanted our oil. That is billions of dollars lost.

Had Canada had a practical PM that would have seized this opportunity to make a deal to sell our natural gas and oil to Japan and Germany, Canada would not be so affected by Trump's trade wars. In anything in life, it is always good to have backups, even in IT redundancy is needed, if one server goes down then the others continue to work.

Norway sealed the deal to sell natural gas to Germany, it is worth 50 billion. Norway's economy will get a big boost.

It's extremely serious. Trump is not just a threat to our economic security but also to our sovereignty as a country.

According to the New York Times today:

Just as easily as he tore up a trade agreement that his own administration negotiated, he is now, in conversations with Canadian officials, threatening to tear up treaties and agreements regarding the border, the Great Lakes, water, shared intelligence gathering, military cooperation, NORAD, and others.

Just as he's talking, more generally, about Canada, as a separate political entity, being a security threat to the US. Which is what the grossly exaggerated business about Fentanyl & illegal immigration across our border is all about.

Ultimately, it seems, he may really want to annex us.

It will be especially good for Quebecois. In about 30 years they all will be speaking English, the only official language of the United States, without any accent. Or well, can’t have it all.

Il préfère s'appauvrir malgré l'inévitable déclin de la langue française dû à des facteurs démographiques.

What speaking French has to do with "s'appauvrir" ?
Perhaps all French speaking countries should stop speaking their language to get richer.
There are many french speaking quebecers that get richer. They have learned English for doing business when needed.

Isn't this kind of common sense when you are surrounded on all sides by English speaking provinces and/or country in the case of the U.S.?
Many French Quebecer are bilingual as many Americans of the Mayne and other Northern states neighbour of Quebec.
At the beginning of 20th Century, quebecer moved to work in clothes factories in USA.

The same common sense that Trump said as his explanation after the horrible plane crash in January in Washington when he blamed DEI for the crash ?

Perhaps they prefer be less rich than living in a country that elect a perfect morron as President.
And is also adopt policies that bring them back in 19th Century on the subject of birth control.
In Quebec, the population got rid of the religions that controlled completely the lives of civils.

What are you talking about? This post is complete nonsense. I did not say anything about Trump in the post you quoted. I stated a geographical fact to anyone who knows how to read a map of North America. You sound like the guy at the cocktail party who likes to hear himself talk while everyone else in the room is grimacing unbeknownst to him. Stop using my posts to bring up Trump when they have nothing to do with him.
