Hello,I was born in Labrador, spent my childhood in the north, moved to Montreal to work, I'll move out once I retire in about fifteen years.
If all other circumstances are equal where you want to move in 15 years.

what do you mean by this?Definitely not doing the move to Florida nonsense.
How cool American friend! What State?I'm from the U.S. and moved here last September... I'm currently working on a PR app and hope to stay, but I'm really not sure of my chances and it seems like it's getting harder and harder. Considering doing a PhD because I'd like to stay. We'll see....
I've lived all over! Originally from the northeastHow cool American friend! What State?
I agree! There are so many other places that offer a much better tradeoff in terms of happiness / income and cultural experience compared to here - especially considering how much we pay in taxes while everything just keeps getting more expensive.it seems like it's getting harder and harder.
I couldn't stand the heat and humidity. 30-35C and 90% humidity all the time, no thanks. I'd rather live somewhere with 4 seasons or just cooler in general. Not to mention the insane political climate down there, coupled with worsening climate issues and insanely expensive homeowners insurance. I'll either die in my current home, build a shack in the desert/woods, or move to a cottage in the UK. Anything but a place like the Villageswhat do you mean by this?
Yes the insurance is much more high due to hurricane risk but the trade off is great since it’s a tax exempt state.I couldn't stand the heat and humidity. 30-35C and 90% humidity all the time, no thanks. Hot heat is best with a sp rubbing her sweat on me! lolYes the insurance is much more high due to hurricane risk but the trade off is great since it’s a tax exempt state.
The humidity is not fun that’s for sure hahaha. But the alligators seem chill!
Same here, but I have a mix of Western and Eastern countries in the mix. I'm always been asked where it's the best. But as always I say it depends of your situation and period in life. Like if you have a family, if you are old, if you're single and young, etc.The grass is always greener on the other side. I lived in several western countries, and each has its specific pluses and minuses.
I prefer big cities too. I'm well off so other people aren't necessarily poor where I go but I won't look down on others. But I would never consider moving to the third world country as I hate to be rich among poor.
Same but for Quebs. Especially make sure to avoid them when I see them on vacation. Also helps my mental health.Born and raised here, not planning to move to another country or province, been there done that. I just need to go away for a year or so once in a while, getting away from the anglos helps me maintain my mental health.
I do the same when bumping into Frenchies hahaSame but for Quebs. Especially make sure to avoid them when I see them on vacation. Also helps my mental health.
