Huh... I know these events happened before my times too but there was a huge boom of them around 2013-2014 and times didn't changeed much since that. There was cameras, GPS and all the other stuff that exist today.
Obvio would be the best host and would make sure everyone is getting along

They absolutely do. Even on this site, with the relatively small number of ladies that post there are those who request screening info. It should be easy enough to find with a search. That's not including what may be shared between ladies when providing verbal references. While I believe that most ladies are ethical and don't misuse info nobody really knows what happens to it once it's out there. I have no doubt whatsoever that some ladies indulge their curiousity to learn more about their clients/prospective clients

I remember at one of the gt they had an intermission where a somewhat known pornstar performed a solo show for the audience. It was no different than what you’d see at a strip club when a stripper does her stage show. While watching the show an indy (whom i had seen twice) who often attended these gt walked over to me & joked “Hey Doc you don’t feel like joining her up there & be part of her show?” I chuckled & told her “no thank you”. Later this got me thinking that this may be an interesting idea to consider bringing up to the then organizers for an upcoming gt: have a live sex show with two (or more) of the attendees either during an intermission or if it needs more privacy have it in one of the rooms upstairs (if it’s held at a hotel bar or lobby) and those who’d want to come & watch could for a fee. Or hold a raffle where interested participants get to buy a ticket & the lucky (or unlucky) winner gets the honor of entertaining a group of voyeurs with a lady who had already pre-agreed to be part of the main event that evening. I know I’ve already been told that i have a wild imagination! LolThis sounds fun

I don't want to organize but I'm intrigued.
But not everyone had them in their back pocket ( or as a single device the iPhone was introduced in 2007 and for a long time it was the only game in town and data plan were not cheap ) or felt the need to stream whatever he is doing 24/7.
These issues were not issues at the GTs I went to (many) from 2005 to 2019 which also included a number of agency parties. In addition to industry GTs, Good Girls had a number of parties, Celine's Fantasies had a few parties I went to, Montreal Girfriends had a Halloween party, Eleganza had a party and I went to at least one XO party. Devilish also had parties. I don't remember any issues along the lines you mentioned. Last party I went to was an MP party in 2019.
That is exactly my point. It was not an issue back in those days because of life habits and the limitations of technology . All i am saying is that enforcing those rules is harder today than it was back then.
It was 2014 and such ... by then lot of peoples had good phones. As you say yourself there was a no picture policy and everybody respected that because they didn't wanted to be kicked out and left out the guest list for the next one. I have no doubt this could still be enforced easily. If i learned anything in this business its that clients are as much, if not more, obsessed about privacy than the escorts themselves.
I'd be willing to go to an event like this for free, if I knew there was a chance of getting clients, and if I knew people would behave in respectful ways, but I'm not so sure that the people who would show up would be interested... And it's like you're saying, most providers wouldn't show up if there was no compensation
What part of the planning you're missing is, a portion of the door price for the gentleman guests, turns into donations to attract providers to make an appearance.
This is where if an agency throws the party, their providers profit from the event, and so does the agency.
But providers have busy schedules, and often are not going out just for the sake of going out. They will prioritize a sure paid visit over attending an event for free, even if it will better their business.
Unless in the planning stage, you have prepared a fund for donating to the time of the providers, you might not have any who prioritize the public get-together, over a paid job instead.
