I believe Felix will take a set from Sinner. Probably just one- maybe 2. If he gets straight-setted it will be a disappointment.

I had a classmate who came from out of state, and he played junior tennis. In junior tennis he played Andre Agassi. He took a set from Agassi (and frequently bragged about this), but lost the match. He was a pretty good player in junior tennis, but obviously knew professional tennis was not in his future.

Match went as I predicted, but I was a little bit disappointed in the play of Felix. Looking at him physically and watching him play, he has Arthur Ashe-like qualities. But in the first set in particular, he was making too many unforced errors, and at other times he was overpowered. If you look at him from the waist up, he lis acking in upper body development. I think he needs to get stronger to handle this calibre of opponent.

He needs to get stronger up there between his ears…, tennis is as much a mental game than a physical one.

Before the match i though, ok pretty sure he will lose, but if he can do it without being humiliated, that'll be a kind of winning. I think he did that.

At 0-3 or 0-4 in the first set though, that could have turned sour.

I placed two bets on Sinner in 5 and FAA in 5 sets too, i wasn't too far from cashing in on one of these.

FAA is physically strong His forehand were very strong Sinner looks skinnier then Felix so I don’t think he needs to bulk up
FAA needs to reduce his unforced errors and play more percentage tennis and not go for high risk winners all the time. He has streaks when he wins a lot of points when his timing is perfect but he has moments when the game gets away from him
Felix needs to develop all around consistency to break through otherwise we just continue to see Sinner-Alcaraz in the finals

The win by Sinner was to beaucoup expected. He didn't have to fight too much to reach the semi-final.
Tomorrow should be a great finale between the No 1 and No 2 players.

I just learned that the Finale began a little more than one hour later than scheduled at Trump demand to keep from showing on TV, protests against him !
