Sex and politics

I'm of the opinion that sex and politics generally should be kept as far away from each other as possible, but I'm also finding that politics keeps making its way more and more into aspects of everyday life where it wasn't so prevalent before. There are people, SPs and members, who are fairly vocal about their political leanings. My question is whether the way someone presents their politics or whether their political leanings affect whether someone will book an SP or whether an SP will refuse a client.

Please, people, I do not want to turn this thread into an argument about aspects of today's politics. That's what the politics section is for and I don't want this to turn into a hot mess of shouting and finger pointing. I'm referring only to whether it affects booking practices or not. Do any of you take this into account when booking or taking bookings and does it affect whether you will see someone or not?

I just go by the 3 monkeys rule and try to ignore politics altogether within the industry, never bringing it up, but I have to admit that is it does come up in an "in my face" kind of way then it can negatively affect my choices. If I'm aware of it I avoid extremists at either end of the spectrum. I have a deep interest in politics but honestly would rather know nothing about the political leanings of the people I see outside of my circle of "friends" and never want to discuss politics in session.

I think sex becomes political in large part because a lot of sex is about power and the anxieties relating to power. When people feel anxious about power, two people's private business frequently becomes something symbolic and political. A lot of the moral panic around sex is rooted in people's anxieties about heirarchy, and their place in heirarchy, power, the desire for power, and the fear of losing power.

Within the past century, there were KKK people in the GTA who made interracial couples "political". A lot of Trump's base (blue collar white evangelical protestant men) relish in the opportunity to bring immigrant men and women down a peg including educated and skilled immigrants as we can see from the discourse around H1B Visas. White slaveowners in the American south depicted black men as dangerous rapists in birth of a nation as if white protestant men weren't raping slave women and fathering mulatto children. The sexual panic of white protestant american men about the "big black other" is rooted in significant part in their fear of being cucked.

It isn't just a fear of being outmanned economically by indians, or in the bedroom by black men either. It seems pretty freaking generalized lol. The Scarface movie portrays Tony Montana as having these glorious coke-fueled orgies that are envied by Miami Vice cops. MS-13 and Tren de Aragua memes on 4chan portray tattooed sicarios as these hypervirile gang-rapists infiltrating american suburbs and threatening little white girls. Trump has literally called ICE raids justified via "human trafficking" of white teens. If you were dealt a bad hand genetically, and you were stupid, lazy, and not really able to compete on your own merits as a man, tying your value to category tied to value would probably spare your ego from what might otherwise ram your fragile psyche. Like a macedonian swineherd who thinks himself Alexander, many 50 year old blue collar divorced white men tie will their sense of pride as a man not to their personal feats but to the group they belong to. They may never win the game. They may have lost the girl. But if their team wins, if they can eliminate someone who's competition, maybe just maybe they won't feel like a loser. If they bring the immigrant, or the lesbian, or the muslim, or the jew down a peg, maybe they won't feel like such a cuck.

A lot of moral panic around sex is really panic about status loss.

There was a recent discussoin of this in the Politics forum. If I saw an SP was posting maga stuff etc. I wouldn't book her, it'd be such a turn off.
Ah, I didn't know there was a similar post, sorry..I very rarely go into the Politics section because it just seems like a waste of time since nobody really wants to discuss politics. lol. :)

I 100% am way more attracted to like-minded providers politically. If their social media is right-wing (or even adjacent) it's a big turnoff and I won't book them even if I think they're gorgeous or have great reviews.

Conversely, if their feed is inclusive and uplifting towards others, even to the point of being militantly anti-bigotry, I get a raging hard socialist boner that I would love to share with them.

Your boner should not be raging if you want to share it. Whether a left or right boner each should be calm and in harmony with the walls that surround it so that it can impart happiness. So says Sifu Gāocháo. :)

SPs being too much feminist and expressing misandrist views I prefer to stay away from that. SPs with too much far-left woke views I will also stay away. I just cannot support that.

My boner is always in harmony with whatever I put it to work on, but the blood that engorges it is staunchly anti-capitalist.

This is a very interesting topic. I want to add my two cents. Whether a SP leans right or left is irrelevant to my decision about whether I will see them. There are good policies on either side of the spectrum.

What is relevant is some of the understandings they have as it relates to current political events and, more importantly, public policy. This definitely carries weight in my decision to see them, as it speaks volumes to me about their reasoning and ultimately judgment.

You see a pretty girl in front of you. Seeing her naked is 99.999999999% guaranteed.

The only positions you need to focus on are Doggy, Missionary, Cowgirl, etc.

Messing this up is like you have the lottery winning tickets for the NEXT SIX MONTHS. Not one ticket but six months worth of lottery tickets of the full jackpot. And you flush them all down the toilet.

Remember the saying we had growing up?
Dont discuss those subjects at the table.
-Politics
-Religion
-Money.

Dont discuss those in bed, or ever for that matter.
-Politics
-Religion
-Money.
*(After you deposited the white enveloppe on the counter, of course...)

No I doesnt, unless she brings up something extreme and beleive me, I can deal with it. It will only impact the repeat.
