Hey! I was "regular" bitching just 2 hours ago! You're not the boss of me! Mind your P's and Q's mister! :)

Missed opportunity to exchange numbers. :)

I was in a high rise today and in the elevator with a 40'ish woman (we were the only two people in it) and she ripped a fart. The she just looked over at me and grinned. Didn't look embarrassed and looked like she had absolutely zero fucks to give. I laughed with her and I think I may just have...

If you continue to pay deposits most people will be fine but some people will screw you. That's how it works, unless you limit your interactions to a very select group of people. You are guaranteed to lose deposits again in the future if you pay them to whoever asks for them. Maybe 90% of the...

I get a fair number of people writing to me and asking me questions about this, that and the other thing. I'm pretty laid back generally and will usually answer questions even if the asker is a lurker or has no or little posting history or whatever. I may not give as complete an answer as I...

I'm picky about the people I spend time socially so the whole concept of social dating in this context is a catch-22 for me, because whether I know people or not it doesn't work for me mentally. I'm very unlikely to want to take someone I don't know out in a social context and gamble on whether...

really? Where do people do street work now? I honestly didn't think there were any real strolls left.

Are there really any street workers left to see anymore? I was under the impression that aside from maybe a handful of drug addicts around Moreau that the street scene had entirely disappeared. Is that wrong? I thought that almost everyone aside from a few outliers were seeing indies or agency...

I don't normally recommend bringing sand to the beach (in this case literally) but for trips to Santa Marta it's actually not a bad idea. You wouldn't do it from Medellin, of course, but from Cartagena or Barranquilla it's not a terrible option. The Colombian girls typically only work once a...

If we're taking MERB threads as anecdotal evidence I think (if I remember correctly) almost everyone in that "when did you start as a hobbyist and what were your experiences" thread (title might not be exactly right) said they started in their 20's

They warn you of any potential dangers. Canada issues high risk travel advisories against going to the Bahamas or Belgium, for example. They assume a level of complete stupidity and ignorance on the part of the traveler and warn to the lowest common denominator. Scopolamine can be an issue in...

You don't need the coca leaves, they give you coca candies instead and yes, they help. For Medellin you don't need to join the FB groups necessarily. I just mentioned looking for them to source individuals who are fellow mongers and who have exploitable friend lists. In my last post which I...

Actually, I'd recommend you use Facebook. There's a pretty deep network of people on Facebook and they're very easy to source. You can also link up with some expats through those groups who can offer you some friendship and guidance if you so desire. There's a large American expat community...

Parque Lleras would be fine, because most of your girl contact would be online, typically. They can come straight to your place without ever going to Parque Lleras anyway, but I would tend to think that if the cops are hassling anybody it would be the odd girl in the park looking to pick up...

This isn't something linked entirely to the SP. Mongers age too, both chronologically and in experience and their expectations and levels of measurement change. There is also a certain tendency to romanticize memory and to attribute more to the memory than the reality warranted. As Luna...

ah, then this requires more info than we should be putting in this thread. You should start a new one in the international section for a general chat and you can dm me for specific questions if you like.

I haven't run into any hotels in the Philippines that aren't girl friendly so pretty much anywhere should be fine. Manila traffic is some of the worst I've ever seen anywhere and this is a huge factor when choosing a place to stay. Stay as close to the action as you can because getting around...

LOL. I wasn't exactly referring to a blow-by-blow (maybe some pun intended) description of the action! It was more like how would it have felt to be that age and interacting with your partner being so much more knowledgeable sexually and socially (not just zeroing in on the sex because notice I...

Ha! I literally had a dream along these last night, thinking about what would happen if my current self was transported back in time into my high school body with my high school girlfriend and the utter shock on her face as I went from awkward but enthusiastic teenager to, "ahem", master of the...

Yes, cancellations suck. :)
