I saw the latest english gangster movie by Guy Ritchie (The Gentlemen) and thought that was pretty good! If you liked his previous efforts, you might like this one as well. Btw....Lock Stock didn't have Brad Pitt in it. That was Snatch. Both are pretty good movies though.

If it's all subtitles, it makes me less inclined to want to watch it (even though I do watch foreign films, etc).

Oh shit, that's out? Didn't even know this was coming out this year. So far all of the seasons of Narcos have been great. Last season was the "least" best, but it was still pretty good. Gotta also eventually watch the new season of Altered Carbon, The Witcher, etc.

I'd be surprised if it was that long. It started in December 2019 in China, and now it looks like they're just starting to open things up and release patients from hospitals, etc. The more locked down we are now, the quicker we can eventually recover.

That's probably the best episode this season so far (Curb Your Enthusiasm). Jon Hamm acting like Larry David is pure gold! Also the episode where he's using the "Make America Great Again" hat to dissuade people from socializing with him was pretty good too, lol.

Isn't this thread supposed to be about Netflix shows/movies? :noidea: But to answer your question, yeah I'm watching this season (big fan). I thought last season wasn't up to the standard of the best of "Curb" (although still good). But this season it seems like the quality is back.

Wow, nice! Someone told me that it's "the best" series on Netflix. Which I find hard to believe with series like "House of Cards", "Orange is the New Black", etc. I'll have to check it out, once I finish what's currently on my queue (which is alot, lol)!

I wish we could get similar stats info like this for Canada, to keep track (although it doesn't seem quite as bad as the States). I'm so glad that they're closing the US/Canada border. It's time we stop worrying about who we offend and do what needs to be done to flatten the curve.

Dunno, I've heard really great things about Parasite. I couldn't care less about subtitles or whether its foreign....will check it out for myself and see. Still have to see 1917, but if it's on the same level as Saving Private Ryan, then it must be great.
