Actually, the show that really changed the TV narrative was The Sopranos (1999)...nine years before Breaking Bad (2008). And it's still arguably the best TV series ever. I love Breaking Bad as well...but can't beat the GOAT, imho.

Not a new film at all (from 1993), but definitely a classic. Btw, Michael Mann just co-wrote a sequel novel to the movie.

That season doesn't disappoint. Easily the best season of that series so far. Both Eddie and Vecna are amazing additions to the show.

Martian was good (saw it at least twice in theatres, lol). I think the next "big" event for theatres will be Avatar 2. That's yet another movie that's "must-see" see in theatres (especially in IMAX 3D). I don't think it'll beat Top Gun 2 for me, but for sure I'll at least check it out once...

They already renewed it for season 2, which isn't surprising given how good the ratings were. Maybe it won't go as long as the original series, but there'll be two seasons at least. I think it'll probably branch out more once the time jump happens.

I think a huge shake-up is coming mid-way into the season. Don't get overly attached to any characters: this is Game of Thrones after all, lol :D

Fantasy/medieval fans must be in paradise right now... New Game of Thrones series ("House of the Dragon") is great! My expectations were low going in (mainly because of a lackluster last season of the main series), but was totally into it midway through the episode. Amazing acting...

Saw Top Gun Maverick five times this summer (all in IMAX): incredible! This is the reason to see movies in theatres. As @Chouin95 said, easily the best movie of 2022!

I liked it...not as good as Get Out, but better than Us (which I wasn't a fan of). I'd say this movie is more sci-fi than horror.

I never really got into this series. I watched the three movies way back in the day when I was a kid. So I'm somewhat familiar with all the characters (even though I barely remember all the events, etc). But when I watched the first episode, it seemed more like a comedy(!) than how the movies...

I thought the Better Call Saul series finale (and the season in general) were amazing. Not quite as good as Breaking Bad, but pretty close (at least a 9/10 for me). The series comes full circle after the names of Lalo and Ignacio (Nacho) were uttered for the first time in BB. Really good...

Yeah but in the recent case in Uvalde, it could have been prevented. The shooter was able to easily buy two AR-15 rifles legally as soon as he turned 18. Do you really think a typical 18 year old is capable of being a master pro that's able to easily access the Black Market to buy weapons...

I'd say NAH (no assholes here). But you're technically responsible for what happened and her reaction is understandable. If it were me, I'd get that donation to her ASAP due to the time wasted, and the embarrassment of what happened. Dunno if it's worth booking another appointment with her...
