Thing is, it should have been two consecutive years losing. New England didn't win last year. On the contrary, Atlanta lost the game. Philly didn't duplicate Atlanta's mistake cuz they mostly played smart and not too aggressive at the end

There is no other team in professional sports as lucky as the Patriots have been over the years. They never should have won that game in Seattle when the Seahawks had first-and-goal from the 1-yard line (with one of the league's best running backs) to win the game and instead went for the pass that wound up getting intercepted. They never should have won that game last year when Atlanta made some bone-headed moves which led to them blowing away that huge lead. And they got dominated by Philly this year but nearly came back to tie it. Finally their string of great luck ended!!

Who would have thought Tom "Butterfingers" Brady couldn't run under the ball, with his blazing 5.3 sec. 40 yard speed. Giselle was right when she said her husband couldn't both throw and catch the ball. I guess the ball had too much air in it for Tom to catch. Giselle and Tom should apologize to Wes Welker for getting him kicked out of New England. I loved seeing Brady get out-dueled by a back up quarterback Nick Foles. Had to be one of the biggest Super Bowl upsets since Jets/Namath in '69 over Colts. Congrats! Iggles.

Agreed 100%. Credit where credit is due though, they build great teams with essentially different players every year but luck has played a huge part in their lore. I know it's so long ago now but remember the Tuck rule? That's how they went on to win their first Super Bowl in the first place. Raiders got screwed big time.

 Thanks for the laugh. To be fair though, all those metrics they use to measure QBs aren't fair if the QB is a pocket passer like Brady, as opposed to Michael Vick. He looked like he was running in slow motion IN REAL TIME during his combine 40 yd dash but he's certainly proven himself. He can still gladly fuck off though. He's won enough.

Bignasty...

Je me questionne...

Titilleur,

Thanks for the correction. New England has now lost 5 Super Bowls - which still gives them the most losses in the Super Bowl. One more loss than both Minnesota and the Bills.
