Gaby does the Nuremberg defense fly in this situation? Harlow posted like 5 tweets saying she was following orders. It didn’t fly at Nuremberg - but does it fly here? Do you buy the “I am just a nitwit supermodel doing what I was told” defense?

Out of respect to 6 millions jews who lost their life because of their race please stop the comparison to a silly mistake ok? They named the wrong winner at the oscar last year... It was a mistake. Murdering 6 millions jews was not a mistake, it was what they intended to do. Please make sure history does not repeat itself.

Cheers,

Jalimon stop fucking lecturing me. I am half Jewish and lost a significant portion of my family in the Holocaust. They would have no problem with me saying it so STFU please! “Nuremberg defense” has become part of the parlance of the language and it covers a lot of things, in fact it would be the first thing that comes to mind for my relatives as well. And you of all people lecturing me on showing respect? Dude you would be beyond embarrassed at the comment (and swiftly deleting it) if you knew my personal history which I obviously can’t discuss here.

Kind of sad that I have to educate knuckleheads on what has become common parlance in my language but here goes:

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superior_orders

It’s amazing that we have people who don’t even know how to speak English and don’t have a college degree in the language lecturing us on proper English in this thread.

Not a fan of the Nintendo/Playstation generation F1 drivers...especially Hamilton...his performances are the result of the substantially improved technology and aerodynamics of the modern cars...as simple as that. Pre-2000, the race results were attributable to be 60% driver skills and 40% car...now it's more like 75% car and 25% driver skills!

Hamilton is way overrated as a driver and he his a careless SOB on the track with no respect for his teammate and opposing drivers.

You could have came back from Chibougamau with today's Mercedes at Silverstone and finished 2nd!

I hope the FIA fine him heavily for not making himself available post race in Parc Ferme’

How convenient that he was interviewed solo on the podium after the Ferrari drivers left

Then he brings up a conspiracy theory ....

Just another poor sportsmanship chapter in the Hamilton novel

...indeed, and I have shared my opinions many times in regards to Hamilton, the Hamilton saga continues.

Hamilton in Motor racing = Neymar of Brazil in Soccer!

This was one of the best races i've ever watched in my 30+ years of watching Formula One racing! What action!!! Mercedez-Ferrari-Mercedez-Ferrari within a total of 2 seconds of one another for i don't know how many laps near the end of the race! It was great!!

On another note although what he did was nothing short of remarkable (from last to second) Lewis Hamilton once again showed his true colors....IN FRONT OF HIS OWN HOMETOWN FANS!!! I love it!!! What a poor sport!!! And to later claim his coming into contact with Raikonen was all part of a Ferrari conspiracy?? THIS DUDE MUST BE WATCHING FOX NEWS ON A DAILY BASIS!!!

So happy that my favorite driver Seb Vettel ended up winning the race while battling a serious case of 'stiff neck' all weekend long. Saturday morning he wasn't even sure he'd be fit enough to be able to race. I didn't know that in F1 racers are not even allowed to take meds or injections in order to releave pain or discomfort. But anyway....

Great race!!! :p

p.s. Williams once again showed that their cars are reliable, but not fast enough to compete in F1.

Yesterday's so-called 'win' by Hamilton only showed how great the difference is between the cars. Like last week it almost seemed like half the cars in the field were stationary as he easily passed them. Instead of 'racing' they simply pulled over and let him pass. What kind of racing is that??

Val Bottas was ordered by the team to remain in second place & let Hamilton run away with the win. There was a point after the last re-start where it looked like Bottas was about to overtake Hamilton's slightly slower car but the Mercedez team ordered him to stay put and maintain his 2nd position. Had it not be for the team's order i'm 100% certain that Bottas would have been first and Hamilton second. The team's order was also strategic in the fact it caused Bottas to slow down Raikonen.

Vettel didn't 'abandon'. He crashed. It was a freak accident. He deserved a better fate but hey, that's what racing is all about. Shit happens.

Lewis Hamilton is a heck of a driver. That's why he's with Mercedez. The top teams only hire the top drivers. I find Bottas to be nearly as good as Hamilton but Hamilton is the 'annointed' #1 driver on the team.

One up-and-coming young driver that i'm really starting to like is Charles Leclerc. Rumour is that he'll replace Kimmi Raikonen at Ferrari next season. I like Raikonen but he has the personality of a rock. Leclerc seems like a nice guy & i enjoy his personality and driving skills. The driver i find that has the best personality among all the drivers? Easily Daniel Riccardo, who is difficult not to like. I find that Danny Rick doesn't have the right partner in the very competitive (maybe too much?) Max Verstappen.

Agree with Leclerc....and what about the future of Stroll....il aura aussi loin que son père le veut...lol......il semblerait que la famille veuille acheter Force India......un pas dans la bonne direction??????

Lawrence Stroll will likely become part-owner of the Force India team and this is great news for Lance Stroll. However it's very bad news for the Williams team since losing Stroll's money will quite possibly make it very difficult for them to remain in Formula One. They're already losing a major sponsor and they need every dollar they can find in order to keep the team alive.

LeClerc is under contract to Ferrari as a junior pilot.

I think he will leave Sauber ( I hope he goes to Haas which has ties to Ferrari ).

If Leclerc doesnt go to Haas, I'm hoping Kimi goes there.

The only reason Stroll is at Williams is because of Daddy's money, but I doubt that the papasan will be an owner in F1.

Sergio Perez is definitely on his way out..Ocon might go to Renault..that all depends on what Toro Rosso does with the contract of Carlos Sainz Jr.
