What's worse: A guy dressing up like Aladdin that includes black face make-up or a pip-squeak apologizing for it 20 years later?
Boy, when I was a kid Halloween was fun. You got to be whomever you wanted to be. Now a days that person better not be outside your race or species or some nut jobs going to be offended and even victimized by it. I think it is ok, even applauded, if a man dresses up like a woman (and goes out and sucks a cock afterward). Hi there! Trick or treat? The alphabet/PC crowd has ruined Halloween.
PS: He was groping a woman. She will file suit I am told in another 5 years or so. It's too soon for her to be appropriately and completely emotionally scarred to get the full payout.

I agree with hungry101. It's getting pretty ridiculous if you ask me. This happened like 18 years ago!! Back then the standards were quite different than they are today and people weren't as thin-skinned as they are now.
I remember one halloween about 30+ years ago a good buddy of mine who happened to be black suggested we dress up as one another and we also swapped our profession's 'uniform' at the time. Yes i put on some dark makeup in order to resemble my friend and he put on some clear makeup. Everyone found it extremely funny. It was!!! We ended up as co-winners of the most original costume that evening. A couple of years later he asked me if i felt like repeating it but i had to decline due to having to attend another engagement.
People who are offended by this Trudeau thing should grow themselves a pair of gonads and get a life!

I understand that up north we hold our leaders to higher standards but truly I don’t get what the big deal is ,,, especially considering he’s track record and immigration policies. Our society is becoming too soft and everyone is ultra sensitive.

I totally agree with your statement. Conservative leader Andrew Scheer is now getting criticized for his hypocrisy. When it was Conservative politicians who were caught in a similar snafu not that long ago he gave them a pass saying it happened a long time ago. But now that's it's Trudeau it's an all-out-scandal and he's asking him to resign & says he's unworthy of being PM. What a bunch of baloney!!
A lot of people have skeletons in their closets. Especially politicians. Mr. Scheer should learn that others can play the same game he's playing.
As a result of this smear campaign by the conservatives against Trudeau - the blackface crap - I am now voting Trudeau instead of Scheer!

The hypocrisy angle is the main point here. The knock on Trudeau is that he is all marketing and image, and doesn't walk the walk. This plays into that. It isn't going to make anyone vote Con, because people who care about this don't vote Con. But in a race this close, some votes that stay home may help.

^^^ I agree with this completely...meanwhile, in the US just a year ago I watched 3 hours of a hearing to confirm a Supreme Court Justice and all they did was review the signatures and comments written in his High School yearbook. I thought why stop there? What did he do in Jr. High? Get that yearbook out too. Why not look at some of his finger paintings in kindergarten? They ignored the past 20 years of the decisions and opinions that he wrote on the bench. It was about his yearbook and how much beer he drank and it never ends. This is why I pointed out the Dave Chappelle special on Netflix. He went off on the cancel-culture movement of today. If you do anything wrong in your life , even 20 years ago, you're finished. But the sad part is that we are all responsible. We cheer when this happens to someone on the opposing team, but staunchly defend someone on our own team.
