I asked my AI assistant and got this answer:That's very impressive. I wonder what % of all NHL goals are power play goals? I think this might be a question for Alexa.
Mitchell Marner is about to become a very wealthy man in July. He’ll be able to live & play anywhere he wants except Toronto. Players who regularly score 100 points in a season & are considered among the top 10 players in hockey rarely are available on the market. Especially this season when the crop of UFA. Marner will be the top UFA on the market & will be getting offers between 13-14 million $$ per season. There may even be teams who may want to make him the highest paid player in the NHL until Mcdavid’s gets the honor next year. Should be interesting where he lands up!The Athletic Reporting Marner is Done in Toronto:

Mitch Marner and the Maple Leafs: A breakup is for the best
All signs are pointing to Marner leaving Toronto in free agency. Why it's the best thing for all involved.www.nytimes.com
I heard a lot of buzz also about Utah, Montreal, Florida, Tampa, Chicago, Vegas, Pittsburgh & San Jose. I still believe he’ll likely re- sign with Toronto. You just cannot replace a player like him in the lineup & claim you’re trying to win a Cup. Might as well start rebuilding. Many Leafs fans don’t realize it yet but the whole team revolves around Marner. He feeds Matthews. He runs the powerplay. He’s the #1 penalty killer. He’s one of the few leaders they have. He’s the only player on the team good enough to play for Team Canada. Most importantly he’s from the area & loves playing there in an era where Toronto & other Canadian teams are more often than not on most NHl players’ no-trade lists. There is a lot of buzz about Marner signing with the Mammoth. If he does, he will not need to change uniform colors:

Pros & Cons to Utah Mammoth Pursuing Mitch Marner in Free Agency
Mitch Marner is one of the most polarizing players in the NHL, and not for good reason. 28-year-old Marner and the Toronto Maple Leafs went through another tragic playoff loss after taking a 2-0 series lead against the Florida Panthers before losing in yet another Game 7 to drop out of the...www.yardbarker.com
Agree 100%, Marner plays a much bigger part than Matthews in the Leaf’s game. He definately has more leadership since Matthews leadership is non-existent.Many Leafs fans don’t realize it yet but the whole team revolves around Marner. He feeds Matthews. He runs the powerplay. He’s the #1 penalty killer. He’s one of the few leaders they have.
Quite possible. He 100% wants to stay with the Leafs & if he does it looks like it would be a 1-yr deal for at least half his current salary. If the Leafs want him back of course. However he had a very productive season & he’ll likely get much better offers elsewhere so i say it’s 50-50 if he stays. If he does it will likely mean he left a lot of money on the table. Can TAVARES be the one who is going to leave????
