Tkachuk is now getting involved making the Panthers exceptionally dangerous and aggressive.

Shut out for The Bob 5-0. I dont see the Canes making a come back in this series, seriously, the Cats seem to get better and better with each and every game they play.
I cant wait to see how the Stars will manage to compete against them. Yeah, I know, I lost faith in Edmonton, mostly because of their weakness in front of the net.

That game was so dull & the outcome predictable that after one period i decided to switch the chsnnel to the Minnesota vs Ottawa women’s game. Entertaining game which ended in OT after Minnesota had tied the game late.

Florida is a hockey playoffs war machine & the Canes don’t stand a chance. Hopefully the other series is more excited & less predictable.

So Skinner shut the Stars, this guy will give nothing or…5 goals! Go figure.
I just realized this guy is only 26 y.o.! He has time to grow into a very good goalie, the experience he’s getting in the playoffs will pay off in the long term.
Tonight he had to make tremendous saves and he was solid as a concrete wall and looked very confident. He’s also a local product so I understand the Oilers being patient with him..

This has been Skinner's rep since he.came into the league, equally capable of giving brilliant shutouts or being a cringe-worthy sieve who has to be pulled from goal. I am not sure of the total number of pulls from goal and benchings he has had, but it's been high. I should note that when Bobrovsky was a young goalie with the Flyers, we saw a little bit of the same from him. So it's not totally unusual. Skinner may grow into being a Bobrovsky by the time he is in his 30s.

On the other hand, the only thing that stands between Edmonton and a Stanley Cup this year and last is steady goalie play. So you can understand they need to win NOW whether Skinner is ready or not to be a steadying and consistent performer.

Oilers are playing the best hockey they’ve played all season & everyone is contributing. The biggest question is the goaltending who’s been hot & cold throughout the playoffs. Yesterday a buddy of mine called me & asked “Omg who can beat Florida?” I replied in the East no one could other than Toronto. But when i saw how Florida destroyed Tampa i knew that they would likely advance to the finals. They’re a playoffs war machine! I was actually shocked that the Leafs found a way to take them to a game 7. Had it not been for Bennett taking Stolarz out of the series I’m convinced that the Leafs would be facing Carolina right now. And what did i answer my buddy? “Edmonton or Dallas can each beat Florida. But it won’t be easy. But possible.”

The main obstacle is Paul Maurice’s abilities to analize and adjust his strategy from game to game, and his players to follow with great execution.

From the start of the season Maurice has been preparing his team for this time of the year, no wonder why no one ever seem to panic in any given situations. Its as if they spent the entire season practicing any possible scenarios on the ice.

Sam Reinhart is out with an injury and Canes are putting Kochetkov in the net with 9 playoffs games under his belt and a 3.52 gaa and a save % of .871, nothing to boost his teamates confidence.

Freddie was benched to "change the vibe", according to Brind'Amour. Whatever that means.
"Just change the vibe a little bit. I don't blame Freddie for any of the goals that went in. Obviously, save percentage isn't great, if you look at that. We do need some saves," coach Rod Brind'Amour said.
