Not surprised by the Lavvy firing. Cronin’s? A little bit. But i expect several more firings to come within the next few weeks.

Speaking of coaches i think the Jack Adams race will be interesting. I think Spencer Carbury of the Caps is the favorite however Dean Everson (Wild) & Marty St-Louis will get several votes. Jon Cooper, Travis Green & Jim Montgomery should also get votes.

My prediction is the Rangers will interview and hire Joel Quenneville. He is the best available unemployed coach and he has been made to pay for his supposed misdeeds with the Chicago Black Hawks for way too long. If they bring Quenneville in I will be happy.

Seattle Kraken have fired coach Dan Bylsma after only one season. My guess is that the rest of the coaching staff including Jessica Campbell will likely part ways also. Elsewhere the Canucks have indicated that the team will not use its option to retain Rick Tocchett. So it’s basically up to him if he wants to stay & coach the Canucks next season. My guess is that he leaves to coach a team like the Flyers or possibly even the Rangers unless the Penguins fire Mike Sullivan in order to sign Tocchett.

It's over for LAMORIELLO..... not a big surprise.....what that means for ROY??????
Strange. I actually read two weeks ago that he had been fired. When i mentioned this to others i was told that the Isles were trying to coax him to step down. So i figured he probably declined to leave on his own so they fired him. I guess i must have been fooled & read some fake news! Lol

I heard two weeks ago that Patrick Roy had been lobbying for Jacques Lemaire to replace Lamoriello as GM. When i heard this i said there was no chance this was happening due to his age & the fact he had never been a GM before.

To me the Toronto Maple Leafs look considerably more dangerous to go deep in the playoffs than they ever have before. It's because of the goalie depth, and Stolarz, who has put together back to back outstanding seasons. He only played 34 games regular season to 42 for Joseph Woll, but with a way better save % and way better GAA in front of the same defense. So the Maple Leafs said fuck it, we are riding with Stolarz, and we will see how far this big donkey can ride us. And they might be able to have a long ride, but we will see what happens when they come up against the mucker teams like Florida that will taken them down into the mud. It's a lot harder to skate in mud than on ice.

Dont bet on the Leafs! We all know how this is going to end. Ottawa in 6!

Everyone please bookmark my post for later:

The 4 teams whom i’m picking will play in the Stanley Cup final will be:

In the East: Toronto or Tampa.
In the West: Vegas or Winnipeg.

This looks like it really could be the year of the Maple Leafs. We shall see!
