This heightens the pressure on Hellebuyck!SCHEIFELE out tonight''s game.....not a good news.....GO JETS.
If this continues there is no question that Hellebuyck will have to give back his Vezina Trophy. There is no way he can keep it if the Jets go out like this with him being a sieve in goal with a .715 save %!Hey boboy.....déjà 2-0 St-Louis avec à peine 8 min. de jouer.....ça sent la fin.....incroyable.
It's not acceptable for a Vezina Trophy winner to suck this badly in a first round playoff series. It's also not acceptable for him to keep the Trophy. He has to refuse it.C’est quand même incroyable de choker comme ça. J’ai jamais vu un écroulement total d’un gardien aussi réputé!
Well, at least we can be sure he’s not getting the Connie Smythe! It's not acceptable for a Vezina Trophy winner to suck this badly in a first round playoff series. It's also not acceptable for him to keep the Trophy. He has to refuse it.
Well…the series ain’t over yet! Unbelievable comeback by the Jets!Well, at least we can be sure he’s not getting the Connie Smythe!
That was an insane 1st OT period! Jets did everything but scored, Blues can thank Binnington!I guess I have to watch it! Lol
On the other hand, Hellebuyck had a .830 save % and 3.85 GAA for the 7 game series while playing in all 7 game including the 3 in St. Louis in which he was pulled from goal. These are well below NHL backup numbers.I am happy Winnipeg moving on to the 2nd round but, in all honesty, the Blues deserved a better fate. I especially feel for Binnington, he played a great series.
Very interesting match-up indeed! Both of them have similar numbers in regular season, although Hellebuyck, playing in the NHL longer than Oettinger, faced much more shots through his career. In the next round, Winnipeg v. Dallas will feature a matchup between the 2 best US goalies: Hellebuyck and Oettinger.
Je reviens sur Neil Pionk, non seulement il a joué 46:15 minutes mais il a aussi terminé sa soirée de travail avec 3 passes!leurs défenseurs ont joué plus de 40 min.....
This is why Jake is sick and tired of backing up Connor for Team USA. He feels he is just as good. Also he was the starting goalie for Team USA at the World Juniors in his age group (over Joseph Woll and Jeremy Swayman) and he feels like he has paid his dues for Team USA.Very interesting match-up indeed! Both of them have similar numbers in regular season, although Hellebuyck, playing in the NHL longer than Oettinger, faced much more shots through his career.
They played almost the same amount of playoffs games (54 and 52), there again, numbers are close to each other, exception being this year, with a clear advantage from Oettinger.
Yep.....2 goals in the last 2 min...just incredible comeback.....momentum is on their side....enjoy....lol
