I like this kid.....he brought a breath of fresh air to this team and NFL.....we all remember years ago when this team was the laughing-stock/league with half of the players in jail.....lolll....will watch him more....and with MAHOMES more quiet he is one those who deserves more attention....BUT tonight it will b all for JOSH.
Well Josh, like Joe Burrow was at LSU, is being coached by Joe Brady. Since OC Kenny Dorsey was fired, the Bills have gone from emphasizing the passing game to running a lot more, emphasizing James Cook, and Josh Allen. 65 points in 2 games has been the result. When Brady coached Burrow at LSU, that was one of the most awesome offenses I ever saw. Burrow was so lights out that season that the Heisman Trophy was a no brainer.

Will Allen also be lights out? They are using him like Baltimore is using Lamar Jackson, so we will see.

Josh Allen didn’t play at LSU. He played his college football at Wyoming. Since Joe Brady became OC in the middle of last season the Bills attack has been a balanced one where he’s mostly using James Cook for running plays. The Bills only lost one game under Joe Brady.

I did not say he was, I said he and Burrow were both coached by Joe Brady, Burrow at LSU. Note the commas in my first sentence, I think you forgot to read them. Joe Brady has a way of making good QBs look great, and Josh Allen is looking great tonight.

I am starting to see why Ken Dorsey was fired as Bills OC. He was not getting the most out of this offense and Allen's talent. I thought Josh Allen underachieved last year, but it was the offense he was in that caused the underachievement.

Ken Dorsey’s offence in past seasons mostly was a passing game & designed running plays by Josh Allen. The moment Joe Brady took over he began to balance out the offence & started using James Cook more & letting Allen mostly run on improvised plays. He also began to spread out the passing attack by using Dalton Kincaid & Kalil Shakir more than ever. He stood up to Stefan Diggs’ constant demands to always have Allen throw the ball to him & Diggs continued to pout, which Allen admitted was putting more pressure on him although he considers Diggs a friend. For the Bills giving Diggs away was an addition by subtraction. Gabe Davis wasn’t re-signed & i told people it didn’t matter since he was invisible in half the games he played & had a knack to drop the ball at least once per game. Guess where Ken Dorsey ended up as OC? Cleveland. And their offence has been awful under him yet they keep blaming Deshaun Watson for the offence’s problems. Maybe they should look at their OC.

I agree with this. I was wondering where they would find a replacement for his production, but it looks to me like they have more than adequate replacements. Shakir and Coleman are outstanding young talents who could be really good WRs in this league. Kincaid and Knox are an excellent TE tandem. Curtis Samuel is a reliable option as a WR, and then you have Cook and Johnson as pass catching RBs. The Bills have scored 30 points or more 3 straight games and it's not easy to do in the NFL. Most significantly this is the best I have ever seen Josh Allen look, and he doesn't have Diggs around to help him look good. Allen looks like he is making everyone else around him better.

As far as all around talent at QB, it's Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson, as the 3 top guys in the league. Only Mahomes has won a Super Bowl so far and he has won 3, but I think the other 2 will be catching up.

They also added Marquez Valdez-Scantling from KC & had added Chase Claypool formerly of Pittsburgh & Miami whom they ended up cutting after training camp.

You didn't mention the Chicago Bears where he was intensely criticized for his low effort performances, to the point where he had to apologize to teammates and coaches and was later deactivated and told to stay home. I am surprised the Bills signed him, but he actually got hurt and reached an injury settlement with the Bills before being cut. The fact that he got hurt was a blessing in disguise because the Bills don't need him.

You’re quite correct. I forgot he played for the Bears after starting his career with the Steelers. I remember that episode with the Bears where they basically gave up on him due to his poor attitude. I did like him a lot when he played for the Steelers. I don’t remember why or when the Bills signed him. I remember being surprised to hear soon after that he may not even make the team since i remembered the player he was in Pittsburgh. Then i think he missed most of training camp with an injury & when the final cuts came up there was talk he’d likely get cut but may be offered a spot on the practice squad. Can’t remember if they did or if he refused. Anyways you’re right if he has a poor attitude they’re better off without him. After finally ridding themselves of Stefan Diggs’ diva attitude which was detrimental to the entire team the last thing they needed was another veteran WR with a crappy attitude.

The Bengals cannot be happy with their coaching as this team, which has excellent talent on offense, has started 0-3 again!

He shouldn't have been hard to discover since he won the Heisman Trophy at LSU last year. There is a legitimate question being asked right now whether he should have been taken #1 over Caleb Williams, who won the Heisman Trophy the prior year. The Bears may be asking themselves that question by the end of the year.
