It won’t & can’t be a co-mvp because of the way the voting process is set up. There can only be one mvp. I’d say Lamar cancels himself because he’s already won twice. It’ll be between Josh Allen & Shaquan Barkley. Joe Burrow will likely get some votes but his team is likely to miss the playoffs so it won’t be him. Sam Darnold & Jared Goff also had spectacular seasons. My pick is Josh Allen but i won’t be too upset if Barkley gets it because he also deserves it & it’s too bad he won’t get a chance today to break the rushing record against his former team. Personally i’d take a trip to the Superbowl for the Bills anytime over Josh winning the mvp.
hasnt there been co mvp winners in the past? or has the rules/voting process changed?

Yes there have been co MVPs. Nothing has changed. As recently as last year the possibility of Co MVPs was discussed.

Has there been co-MVPs in the NFL?

Only twice in the NFL's history has the league awarded co-MVPs for a season. Below is a look at the NFL's two shared MVP awards, the first of which came in 1997.

YearPlayers
1997Brett Favre (Packers) and Barry Sanders (Lions)
2003Peyton Manning (Colts) and Steve McNair (Titans)

Yeah the Vikings flopped, hopefully it makes them stronger next game.
The Lions just gave the Rams a blueprint on how to stop the Vikings offence: rush the QB constantly! Make him rush his throws! It wouldn’t surprise me if the Rams end up beating the Vikings next weekend but the key will be stopping Darnold & getting Bradford & Nukua to click like they did in their game against Buffalo. Should be a tight one with the Lions waiting for them in Detroit the following week.

Three days ago the Raiders fired their head coach which surprised many & today they shocked everyone by also firing their GM who had only been on the job for one year. It’s more & more obvious to insiders that Tom Brady has taken control of the team & will likely resign from his Fox broadcasting job after this season due to a massive conflict of interest. Not sure i’d want the Raiders jobs. They seem to fire their head coaches every year & now it looks like even the GM job is in the same boat.

The Jaguars are also looking for a new head coach. But ownership is a mess. The Titans are looking for both a GM & a head coach. So are the Jets, another major dysfunctional outfit since MAGA Woody Johnson bought the team. Hearing the team is being run by his 15 & 17 year old sons who make their decisions based on the Madden football game. It’s a mess & any serious coach or GM would stay away from that shithole organization. The Bears also looking for a head coach but 5he owner is like 100 years old & the organization has a reputation of being cheap. But it’s still the Bears & they still have prestige. The Pats are looking for a head coach & this is likely the best job out there right now. The Kraft family are model owners & the Pats have been a stable organization for decades. My guess is that Mike Vrabel is their favored candidate unless Brady has reached out to him. If i’m Vrabel i’d chose the Patriots. Too much instability in Vegas.

The first round of the playoffs has been fairly boring so far. None of the games have been close. Blowouts. Hopefully the remaining two games will be closer affairs. I’m expecting tonight’s game (Wash/Tampa) to be a closer one. I picked the Bucks. The next round should have better matchups.

I find that the Washington kicker has a most open stance as he awaits the snap. It's almost uncomfortable to watch because it looks like he has to swivel violently to his right in order to get in the proper kicking position to kick the EP or FG. I am sure it works for him but it doesn't give me a lot of confidence in him.

Well F***, it was fun while it lasted.
Darnold was absolutely brutal last night. It shocked me how bad he was. The Vikings made the Rams defence look like the 1986 Chicago Bears! Over the past two weeks Darnold looked like the struggling QB he was when he played for the Jets & Panthers. The Vikings are now expected to pass on him & will turn to JJ McCarthy instead with Daniel Jones as his likely backup. Last night’s debacle likely will end up costing him between $10-20 million next season. I really feel for the Vikings fans who deserved better from the team after having played like one of the top 5 teams all season.

Same old, same old Darnold last night!!! Turn the ovens on and he fries!
I would stick Goff and Allen in that category of "CLASS A LOSERS!...good at padding their regular season stats and they are nowhere to be seen in the big games!
Goff is already a 1-time super Bowl loser!...The Rams booted him out of LA because he played exactly like Darnold played last night. When the heat is on he panics and folds!
Gosh Allen is another Class A loser mimicking the image of a loser organization going back to the Jim Kelly days with ex-Alouettes coach Marv Levy!

Actually Josh Allen has great stats in the playoffs. He has never been the reason why they lost. He’s been lights out in every playoff game he’s played so far. Their defence couldn’t stop the opposing team & a few questionable coaching decisions didn’t help. The last time they lost to KC they ended up losing because they lost the coin flip in overtime in a game where both offenses were unstoppable. And then the infamous 13-seconds game three years ago when KC fot the ball with 13 seconds left in the game & the Buffalo defence couldn’t stop them. But the biggest mistake in that game was Mcdermott botching that kickoff.

As for the Vikings/Rams game the other night the officials (again!) totally fucked up a call that went in the Rams favor which totally changed the course of the game. I’m referring to the non fumble call where Sam Bradford fumbled a ball while being sacked which was recovered by the Vikings. They went to the replay & it was ruled an incomplete pass which didn’t make any sense at all plus had it been so it should have been called intentional grounding at the very least. The Vikings had momentum at the time & would have got the ball back. This changed the entire game & every expert i’ve heard & watched agreed that it should have been rules a fumble & recovered by Minnesota.

Anyways no matter what the Lions are still going the Superbowl vs the winner of the Bills/Ravens game.

Baltimore is favored by 1.5 points so today i decided to drop $1000 on the Bills. I know that Baltimore could very well win this game because of their big running game however i think the Bills can slow them down if they add a big lineman up front like they did against Denver & force Lamar Jackson into a passing game. Buffalo defence was #1 in rhe league this season in causing turnovers. Anyways if it doesn’t work they just have to score more points than Baltimore.
